Responsibilities :
1. Assists in the development, implementation and management of financial systems, cost accounting systems and/or financial policies and procedures.

3. 4. Monitors and analyzes budget expenditures and prepares detailed reports and analysis on trends. Compiles budgetary and fiscal data received from assigned departments. Analyzes and evaluates departmental budget requests to prepare budgetary documents, reports, and recommendations. Presents fiscal data of assigned departments at budget hearings. Advises senior leaders on budget trends and issues.
5. Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies as well as GAAP, GASB, and FASB.
6. Utilizes various computer financial information systems in the preparation of analysis, evaluation and reports relating to assigned areas. Recommends operational procedures and ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness.
7. Serves a department lead, mentoring and training lower level staff and assuming responsibility for the most complex budget and financial issues.

Meet all designated Pinnacle standards for appropriate risk rating; credit soundness thresholds; and critical action items as represented in KPI reports.
Analyze credit worthiness of a potential borrower and recommend either approval or denial of the request.
Develop and manage business relationships with emphasis upon prudent growth and ongoing credit quality.
Negotiate credit extensions. Work with clients on the structure and terms under which credit would be extended to include collateral requirements, repayment terms, pricing, and covenants required for extension of loans.
Approve loans under approved authority limits.
Ensure compliance with the Firm's credit policies and regulations for all loans under his/her responsibility.

Solicit new personal and business banking relationships. Proactively solicit new business relationships through prospects and referral requests and pursue personal banking relationships of assigned Board of Directors and requesting referrals from Board members.
Develop and maintain product knowledge of all loan and depository products designed for small business and affluent individual markets, as well as personal knowledge of market. Further expand knowledge to add value to client with regard to Investment needs and estate planning.
Participate in developmental and training activities as well as projects as directed by management.
Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and personal, and refers clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate.
Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.

This job is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. This part-time opportunity involves performing a variety of foundational accounting duties within the Finance Department. The position averages 18-24 hours per week. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accessing the general ledger via proprietary financial software
Creating and inputting journal vouchers
Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Participating in monthly close meetings
Reconciling bank statements
Assisting in the monthly updates of fixed assets
Analyzing general ledger accounts for incorrect postings; making necessary corrections
Identifying variances monthly in the general ledger and be able to explain as needed
Gain a basic understanding of an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) layout and be able to perform various edits and reviews regarding reconciliation of financial statements
Utilizing knowledge of MS Word and Excel in the execution and completion of assignments

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates will be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university.
Additional course work beyond basic accounting is preferred.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI is a plus.
A comparable blend of relevant education and experience may be accepted in place of the stated minimum qualifications, with the exception of a High School Diploma or GED, which must be met as specified.
Working Conditions:
