*SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST POSITION DESCRIPTION*

*MAIN FUNCTION: *
* Works under the direction of the Controller
* Provides financial planning and analysis, and financial administration support for the corporation
* Coordinate development of Company's Annual Operating Plan
* Prepare and evaluate economics for major projects
* Evaluate financial impact of acquisition opportunities
* Identify and help implement plant cost savings
* Develop performance measurement criteria for manufacturing processes
* Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor
* Develop models for evaluating the financial impact of different business strategies
* Ensure proper adherence to company policies and procedures and internal operation requirements

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Prepares weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting
* Performs analysis and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts. Ensures accurate and timely closing of financial books; prepares reports on monthly financial results and variances to plan and identifies problems and recommends necessary corrective actions as appropriate
* Assists in month end closing activities for timely financial reporting for CCC, CCC USA Corp. and CCC Transport Company, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements, schedules, and reports for the monthly financial book
* Prepares financial reports and presentations to management on a scheduled or as needed basis
* Supports quarterly and year-end audits and interacts with outside auditors as needed
* Provides back-up to the Controller on assigned tasks as needed
* Prepares pricing computations for all contract customers monthly; works closely with Sales & Marketing on changes to baseline prices and payment terms
* Prepares reports requested by China Synthetic Rubber Corporation and Taiwan Cement Corporation
* Conduct special projects as determined by senior management
* Prepares the monthly forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and long-term business plans
* Lead in the analysis of all capital and expense projects
* Track project results and compare to original cost/savings projections
* Meet department and statutory filing and reporting deadlines as outlined
* Coordinate and lead financial-related meetings

*QUALIFICATIONS: *
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
* CPA and/or MBA a plus
* Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant work experience in a similar sized manufacturing company
* Highly advanced analytical skills
* Extensive financial modeling experience with advanced Excel skills
* Strong background with Microsoft Windows applications and computerized integrated accounting systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Job Description

SS&C, through our partnership with Luminae Partners formerly known as Lighthouse Partners (Asset Manager) , is currently seeking a candidate who will be part of a multi-dimensional middle to back office operations and accounting department responsible for all aspects of post trade matching, trade capture, and all aspects of daily operations, treasury services, accounting and tax compliance, planning and reporting. The ideal candidate is one who works or has worked within a multi-strategy hedge fund, financial institution or hedge fund administrator with solid exposure to fund accounting, OMS/PMS integration, middle office post trade reporting and operations.

We are looking for a Financial Risk Data Analyst to work in our client's Palm Beach Gardens, FL office. The team is open to relocation benefits for a qualified candidate. This is also a hybrid work environment with limited time in the office once training is completed with satisfactory results.

Responsibilities & Goals

+ Provide operational support for risk production environment.

+ Maintain and enhance daily risk modeling/mapping processes.

+ Review, produce and deliver recurrent and ad-hoc risk reporting/analyses.

+ Oversee enterprise risk limit monitoring system.

+ Generate returns-based attribution analyses.

+ Answer risk-related queries from a variety of business units including the investor relations, business development, investment management, technology, compliance, accounting and operations teams.

+ Maintain and enhance existing workflows to ensure the highest quality and completeness of data.

+ Coordinate with technology team members to implement risk production processes.

+ Review risk application output and resolve any underlying data issues.

+ Understand production dataflows and how they impact various application and report output.

+ Assist in the development of systems used to evaluate market risk including quality assurance testing.

+ Interact with risk data vendors including software/data providers and consultants.

+ Become familiar with the accounting, valuation treatment and risk measurement for a variety of asset classes, including equities, futures, fixed income securities, listed options, currency forwards, contracts-for-difference, credit default swaps, interest rate swaps and other OTC products.

+ Review daily modeling and mapping reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete output.

Required Education

+ Over 5 years prior work experience with a Hedge Fund, Financial Institution, or hedge fund administrator's operations departments.

Required Skills/Characteristics

+ Ability to query and manipulate data from SQL Server databases.

+ General understanding of capital markets and asset class characteristics.

+ Motivated self-starter with an appetite for knowledge.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to set, organize and meet priorities;

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

+ Ability to work independently as well as with others in small team, energetic environment;
