    The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial integrity of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting key financial decisions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP or other relevant accounting standards. Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts. General Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations. Perform month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure all transactions are properly documented and recorded. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing. Reconcile discrepancies and address vendors or customer inquiries. Audit and Compliance: Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
