Overview
The Junior Financial Analyst will have a hybrid of tasks that revolve around preparing billing to clients and assisting with various accounting support functions throughout the month. Qualifications:
● High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
● Previous banking or demonstrated sales experience in business, retail or other industries.
● 1-year cash handling experience in a banking or retail environment preferred. (2+ years if level II)
● Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with consumers and small businesses in a structured, goal-based environment preferred.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to solve problems and nurture client relationships even in contentious situations.

Initiate the QM review process by submitting course materials and completing all required documentation.
Participate in the QM Pre-Review Conference Call or Zoom session.

Implement revisions based on reviewer feedback to ensure the course meets QM Standards.
Maintain open and consistent communication with the QM Coordinator and review team throughout the review process.
Monitor the progress of the review and ensure timely submission of all required information.
Effectively manage priorities and adapt to meet required deadlines.
Adhere to all Virtual Arkansas and applicable Arch Ford ESC policies and regulations.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst - Engineering I & Capital Projects supports Summit Utilities' Engineering organization by providing financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and planning for major capital initiatives. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarize Engineering's capital expenditures, forecasts, and budget performance.
Analyze capital project costs and variances, explaining budget-to-actual differences and trends to leadership.
Develop financial models to forecast spending and evaluate investment decisions related to construction, infrastructure, and maintenance projects.
Support rate case data requests by compiling financial documentation and validating accuracy of supporting schedules.
Capital Planning & Forecasting
Partner with engineering and operations leaders to build, track, and forecast capital project budgets.
Ensure accurate capture and allocation of project costs within enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Assist with annual capital budget development and long-range planning.
Provide data-driven recommendations that improve resource utilization and capital efficiency.
Management Reporting & Board Support
