Open, close and service client deposit accounts; Coordinate and follow through on client requests for products and services (i.e., open/close accounts, check orders, credit drawdowns/pay downs, credit card requests, etc.), take consumer loan applications and process loan documents; refer clients to appropriate department. Requirements: Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: Five years of retail banking experience preferred. Additional experience in sales or marketing, trust department products and consumer lending products preferred. Previous Private Banking Experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or equivalent work experience; additional training provided by financial institution. Series 7 registered representative and Series 63 brokerage licenses preferred. Excellent relationship management, client service and communication skills are a prerequisite as well as an entrepreneurial orientation. Strong ethics and integrity is crucial as work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to being courteous and having tact. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts are important and ability to foster sound relationships with other entities (lawyers, accountants, etc.) is necessary. Strong sales experience; experience dealing with public accounting and law firms helpful. Good knowledge of consumer banking, credit and business banking services; basic experience handling trusts, investments, tax insurance, real estate management, estate planning and financial planning, credit training preferred.
