Overview

Fulton Bank currently has an opening for a Financial Center Manager at the 25th Street Financial Center in Easton, PA.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and manage the operations, staff, and business performance of a designated Financial Center location. The incumbent will develop and implement the Center's sales and service plans to deliver a superior customer experience, initiate, retain and grow profitable customer relationships within the existing customer base and the local community, align with Consumer Business and Corporate goals and objectives, and adhere to operational risk, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, assign and evaluate the work of staff, screen and select candidates, provide guidance and coaching, establish individual goals and objectives, monitor volume, workflow and quality, manage performance to include conducting performance appraisals, make pay recommendations, partner with Human Resources to resolve employment related issues
  • Develop and implement the Financial Center's business plan to drive efforts of the Financial Center Sales and Service staff to achieve established goals for new and existing customers, oversee the application of Fulton's Sales Management Process, monitor and evaluate individual and collective progress
  • Build and maintain knowledge and network of local community, engage individuals, local small businesses, business groups and community organizations, identify and research business banking opportunities, develop and implement plans to market FFC products and services, participate directly in sales engagements and activities, represent Fulton as a positive force bringing value to the local community
  • Oversee the implementation of established internal operating processes and procedures, ensure adherence to all risk management and compliance initiatives and applicable regulations, evaluate operating efficiency of the Center and make adjustments to maximize efficiency, profitability and deliver the optimal customer experience, resolve escalated customer issues
  • Contribute to and promote broader business and corporate initiatives, consistently message to staff and other stakeholders in support of the Bank's strategic goals, lead Center team through organizational change, partner with the Commercial segment, support business planning, champion culture activities, participate in specified focus groups and task forces as appropriate

This role will be responsible for the management and oversight of all branch operations of the credit union. Daily operations in the area of teller management, member service, phone services and incoming mail. Hire, manage and train up to 8 direct reports. Also serves as the back-up for Member Service Representatives & Contact Center Manager.
Essential Job Functions

+ Full working knowledge of credit union savings and lending products and services and day to day operations of all branch operations w/ member service and sales culture orientation

+ Review, underwrite and approve consumer loans

+ Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wires

+ Hire, train and supervise all branch staff (including Sr. tellers, FSC Team Lead; MSR's) and guide each associate in the completion of their respective tasks and duties.

+ Conduct the annual review of each direct report and assist them to prepare development plans in coordination with VP Sales and Service and Training/Information Coordinator

+ Manage daily opening and closing of all branches.

+ Responsible for management of ATM's and branch equipment

+ Track materials and manage key branch materials and functions

+ Understand and participate in the annual budgeting process with relation to branch operations needs and participate in, own and support the decisions made to all levels of the organization

+ Diminish threat of loss of credit union assets by maintaining high standards for teller security and balancing, inventory management and internal control standards

+ Manage receipt and verification of funds from all Coca-Cola-based Freedom pay machines at all Atlanta area locations

+ Develop and maintain relationships with all departments within Coca-Cola as needed to accomplish goals of branch operations; including but not limited to the Company Store, CCE, Fountain, on-site security, corporate security,

+ Understand State and Federal banking laws, rules and regulations and utilize this knowledge to prepare policies and procedures to adhere to each as they pertain to branch operations

+ Build and maintain relationship with other members of the credit union management team

Job Requirements:

Education:

Undergraduate degree in banking, accounting, management or other related field or equivalent experience preferred with 3+ years in a banking or credit union environment.

Experience:

Three years of financial institution and cash handling experience required. Experience in Head Teller or supervisory role in branch operations. Previous lending decision-making and processing experience preferable.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Working knowledge of pertinent banking rules and regulations preferred. Knowledge of proper internal and dual control standards; working knowledge of standard financial institution checks and balances and inventory reconciliation.

Knowledge of financial products and services. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Data Processing System Software, preferably, EDS. Effective verbal and written communication and problem solving skills.

Travel:

Periodic travel to local branch operations.

Overtime:

Must be available for occasional overtime.

Approximately 75% of the FCMs time is spent in the branch managing, observing, coaching and driving the internal sales and operational processes of the branch.
