Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide direct financial leadership and support for assessing allocation rates, composition of cost pools and for new allocations. - Work with Group and project finance teams to develop, administer, and implement policies, process improvements, methodologies, and cost allocations. - Prepare the annual incurred cost submission in real-time, as each month is closed which includes; confirming the allocations are consistent with the CAS Disclosure Statement, reviewing for unallowable costs, and reconciling the submission to the general ledger. - Receive audit requests (Incurred Cost, project related, Sarbanes-Oxley, DCAA, etc.) and successfully manage them to completion while pulling applicable support documents (e.g., timesheets, invoices, bank records, etc.) - Develop cost impacts for proposed changes to cost accounting practices. - Update the CAS Disclosure Statements for clarifications and changes. - Establish and assures adherence to schedules, work plans, project performance requirements, and deadlines. - Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning government compliance. - Establish operational objectives as well as work plans and delegates assignments to indirect subordinates. - Responsible for creating and maintaining very complex MS Excel spreadsheets including; modeling, formulas, pivot tables, etc. - Provide training as needed to other teams within the organizations related to government compliance. - Other duties as assigned.
