Position Summary
We are seeking a visionary Director of Finance to lead financial strategy and transformation across all divisions. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all core finance functions, including cost accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and credit/collections. You will champion organization-wide digital transformation and drive the implementation of automation and AI tools to create a best-in-class, scalable financial platform.
In conjunction with the CEO, you will report directly to the COO to build a standardized, shared services back office that ensures sustainable growth, cost efficiency, profitability, and enhanced financial visibility as well as managing all Finance related activities for all 3 entities.
Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including cost accounting, GL, accounts payable/receivable, and credit/collections.
Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic goals.
Consolidate reporting across divisions; ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging automation and AI to improve processes and analytics.
Develop and implement standardized financial policies, procedures, and metrics across all divisions.
Partner with executive leadership to support growth, cost savings, and best-in-class performance.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team in a shared services environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
Minimum 10 years in finance leadership, ideally in manufacturing, apparel, or consumer products.
Experience in multi-division, multi-entity financial management and shared service platforms.
Strong background in ERP / EPM systems, automation, and digital transformation.

About the Role
This position plays a key role in ensuring strong financial discipline across long term programs. As the Program Financial Operations Manager, you serve as the independent financial voice on project performance. Responsibilities:
Own financial setup and maintenance of projects in a project accounting system (NetSuite SuiteProject or similar), including WBS structure alignment, labor planning, vendor setup, revenue planning, and cash milestone tracking in alignment with bids and RFPs
Lead monthly program financial reporting cycles including revenue, margin, cashflow, and variance analysis against plan
Proactively identify risks in revenue recognition, cash collection, cost performance, and foreign currency exposure and escalate with time for corrective action
Manage intercompany transactions, vendor invoices, accruals, reversals, and milestone based invoicing and payment applications
Develop accurate internal and external cost forecasts and partner with project managers on variance explanations and recovery strategies
Conduct ad hoc financial modeling to assess impacts of schedule shifts, cost changes, or emerging risks and provide decision support
Work cross functionally with accounting, project management, and functional leaders to ensure alignment across cost, schedule, and risk tracking
Contribute to process improvement initiatives including reporting enhancements, project controls, and refinement of project finance systems and tools
Support department growth with the potential to take on leadership responsibilities as the program finance function expands
Qualifications:
7 or more years of experience in project accounting or program finance supporting multi year, complex programs
Strong experience using project accounting or PSA software (NetSuite SuiteProject preferred)
Solid understanding of GAAP principles and ASC 606 revenue recognition
Advanced Excel capability including financial modeling
Experience with foreign currency exposure and hedging considerations
Independent and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communicator able to explain financial drivers and insights to both project teams and executives
Preferred but not required: CPA or CMA
Preferred experience with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, or Oracle P6

Specific Activities Include:
Oversee the FA accounts payable process, including but not limited to:
Review the allocation of invoices to funds and legal entities
Ensure the proper coding of invoices, including review of limited partnership agreements
Ensure the appropriate approval for invoices
Review invoices against contracts and engagement letters from outside vendors
Report accounts payable activity to third party fund administrators
Reconcile open invoices with vendors
Resolve questions and issues as they arise
Bill funds and entities for AP expense reimbursements
Prepare invoice uploads and enter information into accounting software
Review and approve new vendor and fund name set-up requests.
Review allocation of costs by fund in the Due From Funds (DFF) process.
Perform treasury functions, including but not limited to:
Ensure completion of verbal confirmation for new vendor bank accounts
Review and approve Wire/ACH templates and transactions set up in online banking system
Ensure distribution of remittance advice
Review bank reconciliations
Ensure that vendor payments are processed in a timely manner
Review reimbursement received from Funds
Ensure the accuracy of application of fund reimbursements to open invoices

Perform month-end close activities, including but not limited to:
Prepare and post journal entries as necessary
Review assigned balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by AP accountants

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support regional leadership and operations teams in creating regional plans to achieve billing targets, rates, direct and indirect project costs, overhead, and profitability margins for professional services.
