What we offer:
We have a specialized licensing and comprehensive training program designed for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses to start and grow a successful Financial Advisor career.
We will sponsor your pursuit of full registration and licensing as a Financial Advisor using our tools and resources to guide you through the process.
You will prepare and test for your SIE, S6, S63, S65 and state Life & Health licenses.
Upon successful completion of the licensing phase, First Command may offer you the opportunity to join our paid training program with a local district office.
As you begin this career, your First Command Financial Advisor salary will consist of an hourly wage for 3 months, initially expected to be minimum wage in the state in which you are employed. After three months, you may transition to a salaried position that offers progressive incentives during for the remainder of the nine-month paid training period.
What to expect after training:
At the conclusion of the paid trainee program, First Command may offer you the opportunity to become an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command, through which you can control your career trajectory and be compensated based on your work and the results you achieve as an independent contractor.
There is no cap on your earning potential: Your compensation reflects your effort and is based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation. The average compensation during the first year as an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command ranges in commissions and bonuses.

Team Travel Advances and Reconciliations
* Upload amounts in Dash system for assigned sports for team travel per diem and expenses following policy and procedures, ensuring all the information on the requests is correct.
* Ensures that sports have all the appropriate paperwork for both advances and reconciliations, i.e. request form, bus driver tip sheet, meal money form, and trip settlement.
* Collects unused money and completes reconciliation worksheet to ensure proper use of funds.

* Provides guidance to units on university policies and procedures by advising others about development and implementation of new systems and workflow procedures. Maintains good relationships with athletics staff, central procurement and business services, and outside vendors.
* Assists in generating various transfers, vouchers, or corrections inside the accounting system.
* Researches transactions and analyzes any coding inaccuracies. Assists assigned sports and departments with recurring expenses to ensure accuracy during the budget process.
* Researches and communicates best practices within the procure to pay life cycle to other Business office members to ensure the most accurate and efficient processes are being utilized.

Financial Advisors with Capital City Investments (CCI) deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long term financial goals. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Securing a sale
Works directly with Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and activities with the expectation of exceeding production sales goals.
Develop referral sources outside the Bank with existing clients, CPAs, attorneys, Bank associates and other related sources of investment business. This often requires outside business development calls.
Must be available to meet with clients and/or potential clients in person, in/out the office. Requires early morning and/or late evening meetings with clients, based on their availability. Meet with clients in the office, business premises, or home.
Conduct in-depth reviews of client' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims. Analyze data and recommend investment options and advise of potential risks.
Conducts risks analysis; researches the marketplace and recommends the appropriate products and services, ensuring clients are aware of and understand products that best meet their needs, and then securing a sale.
Cross refer Bank products and use financial planning tools.
Attend Sales meetings, as determined by Sales Manager, to discuss products being offered as well as industry updates, tax implications and industry compliance matters. Additionally, new sales techniques will be introduced at these meetings for future implementation.
