About the role
Boston Scientific is at a pivotal moment in our global technology transformation journey, with major system implementations already in motion and additional launches ahead. To accelerate this momentum, we are establishing a dedicated finance technology team to lead the end‑to‑end implementation of our finance systems stack. We are hiring a new Senior Director, Financial Processes and Systems, who will serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team. This leader will drive the execution of our enterprise‑wide finance systems roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment with Boston Scientific's broader business objectives.
This role is responsible for overseeing a suite of financial systems that support global planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with senior Finance and IT stakeholders to enhance systems capabilities, stabilize post‑launch performance, and build scalable, future‑ready solutions. With oversight of a high‑performing team, this individual will also lead initiatives in process automation, data governance, and user training-ensuring that our finance systems are resilient, optimized, and ready to support the organization's continued growth.
Note: This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, MA office at least three days per week. Responsibilities
Develop and implement a systems strategy to support Boston Scientific's objective of a best‑in‑class, agile finance organization.
Collaborate with IT Finance to deliver system launches, including Magellan, EPM/PPM, and workforce planning.
Establish processes to stabilize and enhance financial applications post‑launch.
Lead and mentor a team of ten professionals.
Oversee systems supporting financial close, consolidation, planning, and forecasting.
Manage master data governance for all finance data elements, including design and execution of definitions, rules, and hierarchies.

The Commercial Finance Director is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial performance, forecasting, and profitability across the wholesale channel, while also providing financial and analytical support for the direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Senior Leadership to optimize revenue, margin, and inventory investment across the channels. What You'll Do:
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the wholesale division.
Develop account-level P&Ls, pricing models, and margin analyses.
Partner with Sales on promotional planning, trade spend, and customer profitability.
Partner with Merchandising to drive alignment across forecasts and projections
Provide financial support for DTC forecasting, performance reporting, and promotion/ROI analysis.
Support Annual Budgets, monthly rolling forecasts, scenario modeling, and strategic business cases.
Improve reporting processes, forecasting tools, and financial governance.
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's in finance, Accounting; MBA/CPA a plus.
8-12+ years of finance experience, ideally in consumer products, retail, or omnichannel environments.
Strong wholesale finance background: DTC/e-commerce experience preferred.
Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills (Excel, BI tools, systems).
Excellent communication, presentation, and business partnership capabilities.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth, and cross-functional environment

Responsible for ongoing portfolio management in the CML RE Lending area as well as managing and growing a portfolio of CML RE clients with loan and non-loan related business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the growth and development of an assigned CML RE portfolio, effectively managing clients with loan and non-loan products
Complete or review credit analyses on existing and prospective loan accounts
Write detailed narrative reports regarding the relationship, including the history of the relationship, a review of financial data, collateral coverage, ability to service debt and the risks associated with the credit
Identify relationships requiring updated financial and related information, and prepare customer correspondence related to timely collection for ongoing monitoring
Review personal and business financial statements, tax returns and other pertinent financial information
Prepare various written loan reports including: loan presentations, loan modifications, and credit file comments as needed in accordance with the Bank's loan policy and procedures and state and federal banking regulations
Recommend appropriate loan risk rating
Review loans for covenant compliance
Assist CML RE team lenders with customer inquiries and servicing requests
Serve as the back-up for CML RE Lenders on the team when they are out of the office
Monitor overall CML RE loan portfolio exposure for maturities, delinquencies, DDA overdrafts and overall changes in credit situations
Participate on Bank task forces and committees as needed
Represent the Bank at various community functions
Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned
