Essential Functions:
Responsible for the growth, retention and expansion of a portfolio of existing Business Banking clients.
Sources new customers through referrals.
Contributes to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional banking products.
Seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts.
Recommends the appropriate solutions to clients as a trusted advisor to meet the objectives of clients.
Meets assigned revenue goal for region and products.
Gains complete knowledge of the business and personal financial needs of assigned customers.
Visits client locations regularly.
Builds knowledge of each assigned client and develops/manages a relationship plan for each client.
Ensures client requests are met by handling them directly and/or referring to appropriate resource.
Meets or exceed key performance measures, including but not limited to, portfolio growth, revenue/profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction key metrics.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 1+ year of credit associated lending or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Knowledge of lending, credit analysis preferable in a commercial lending environment.
Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
Familiarity of the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
Requires skills and experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment.
Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge of a software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Manages a small commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Answer and resolve routine and complex member inquiries, complaints, and concerns over the telephone, creating customized solutions while maintaining positive member service relationships.
Explain the features and benefits of UNIFY membership, as well as products and services, preserving and enhancing the UNIFY brand.
Receive and process requests, including, but not limited to, funds transfers, membership data changes, eBanking technical support, and loan payments.
Navigate numerous specialized software systems and a member relationship application, at any given time, to fulfill member requests.

Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Requires two years of experience, or a combination of experience, in the banking/financial, call center, sales, and/or customer service industry.
Requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and under high call volume conditions.
Requires intermediate proficiency in typing (40-60 WPM) and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

ROLE of the POSITION
The Student Financial Success Specialist is primarily responsible for all interactions with students and their family members. Managing outreach and engagement, educating them on their financial responsibilities and the procedures with which UNLV/NSHE sets forth governing tuition and fee charges and payments. Under the supervision of the Cashiering and Student Accounts Manager, this position will be responsible for reviewing students' accounts, managing all inquiries, maintaining communication with students falling behind on their financial responsibilities, monitoring bankruptcy claims, recording payments, and processing collections. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, this position will interact with the Campus Relations Team within Academic Affairs, external collection agencies, and the General Counsel's office, providing the support needed to ensure students' needs are addressed.
This position will also maintain responsibility for ensuring the university remains complaint with all regulations around charges applied to accounts and the guidelines with which the university must remain in to collect by researching regulatory changes and interpreting complex compliance frameworks --including NSHE/UNLV policies, FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Regulation F, and Department of Education guidelines.
Duties include:
Responsible for monitoring students' accounts, proactively engaging with at-risk students falling behind on payments.
Educating students on university deadlines and policies regarding balances.
Attempting to resolve past due balances via payments or enrolling in payment plans.
Research, reconcile, and resolve any student account balance issues identified.
Maintain or establish communication with students regarding past due balances, including working with collection agencies.
Process past due accounts with collections agencies or the District Attorney's office that have been deemed uncollectable.
Monitor Bankruptcy Claims and work with General Counsel to resolve the students' accounts.
Act as the primary point of contact for all cashiering and student account inquiries.
Act as Primary Liaison with the Campus Relations Team in Academic Affairs, helping students get their questions answered by the right individual.
Answer phones, emails, and chat questions that students and families have, following all FERPA guidelines and Board policy.
Maintain awareness and understanding of UNLV and NSHE policies around tuition and fee-related policies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Complete all established financial aid processes (e.g., verification, award letters, loan originations) to ensure the accurate and timely payment of Federal Student Aid funds.
Manage the yearly refinancing process with students to ensure the timely receipt of second-year funding.
Establish student work-study eligibility and collaborate with the HR liaison to complete new hire paperwork.
Meet with students prior to graduation for exit counseling and review student loan repayment information.
Develop and maintain a current working knowledge of all applicable financial aid regulations.
Demonstrate effective teamwork with all members of the enrollment team to meet student needs, assisting students as necessary.
Secondary Duties:
Present at new student orientations and attend Financial Aid Lead/Manager meetings when needed.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Student Financial Success Specialist, Financial Services [R0150367]
ROLE of the POSITION
The Student Financial Success Specialist is primarily responsible for all interactions with students and their family members. Managing outreach and engagement, educating them on their financial responsibilities and the procedures with which UNLV/NSHE sets forth governing tuition and fee charges and payments. Under the supervision of the Cashiering and Student Accounts Manager, this position will be responsible for reviewing students' accounts, managing all inquiries, maintaining communication with students falling behind on their financial responsibilities, monitoring bankruptcy claims, recording payments, and processing collections. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, this position will interact with the Campus Relations Team within Academic Affairs, external collection agencies, and the General Counsel's office, providing the support needed to ensure students' needs are addressed.
This position will also maintain responsibility for ensuring the university remains complaint with all regulations around charges applied to accounts and the guidelines with which the university must remain in to collect by researching regulatory changes and interpreting complex compliance frameworks --including NSHE/UNLV policies, FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Regulation F, and Department of Education guidelines.
Duties include:
* Responsible for monitoring students' accounts, proactively engaging with at-risk students falling behind on payments.
* Educating students on university deadlines and policies regarding balances.
* Attempting to resolve past due balances via payments or enrolling in payment plans.
* Research, reconcile, and resolve any student account balance issues identified.
* Maintain or establish communication with students regarding past due balances, including working with collection agencies.
* Process past due accounts with collections agencies or the District Attorney's office that have been deemed uncollectable.
* Monitor Bankruptcy Claims and work with General Counsel to resolve the students' accounts.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all cashiering and student account inquiries.
* Act as Primary Liaison with the Campus Relations Team in Academic Affairs, helping students get their questions answered by the right individual.
* Answer phones, emails, and chat questions that students and families have, following all FERPA guidelines and Board policy.
* Maintain awareness and understanding of UNLV and NSHE policies around tuition and fee-related policies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1 to 3 years of experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
* Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Understanding of invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliations, and cash application
* Understanding of financial and legal regulations related to managing accounts receivable
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Higher Education, Cashiering/Student Accounts (Bursar's Office) experience is preferred.
* Detailed knowledge in understanding fair credit practices and regulations to manage delinquent accounts and collections effectively.

Salary range is $61,000 - 70,000, or commensurate with the labor market.
