This position will also maintain responsibility for ensuring the university remains complaint with all regulations around charges applied to accounts and the guidelines with which the university must remain in to collect by researching regulatory changes and interpreting complex compliance frameworks --including NSHE/UNLV policies, FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Regulation F, and Department of Education guidelines. Duties include: Responsible for monitoring students' accounts, proactively engaging with at-risk students falling behind on payments. The following job profile is intended to provide a general sense of what Senior Branch Premier Bankers do; however, the day-to-day duties and responsibilities will differ from branch to branch and even banker to banker depending on several variables, including (but not limited to) years of experience, complement of clients serviced, banking services and options of various clients, and client needs.
