Job Summary:
As an Administrative Services Officer 2 you will be our team lead for the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Taxes and Fees Program, making regulatory determinations for UST tax exemptions and refunds for the Program. Drawing on your extensive experience and knowledge of finance, you will perform financial hardship evaluations and ability to pay evaluations for UST and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST). You'll audit the financial reviews of reimbursement claims for UST-LUST programs and partner with our Financial Responsibility team to review complex financial data associated with submittals of corporate guarantees, financial test of self-assurance, surety bonds, letters of credit, trust funds, and local government financial tests.

• Financial Hardship Review & Document Review and Evaluation - Reviews applications submitted to UST-LUST to evaluate the customers' ability to pay or complete a financial hardship review for various programs. Review of financial responsibility (FR) documentation submitted by private and government entities. Evaluate and track compliance with state FR requirements. Communicate and correspond with owners/operators and insurance companies to obtain required FR documentation.
• Compliance Determinations - Reviews complex financial responsibility mechanisms and makes financial compliance determinations, as well as provides financial responses to appeals for the UST-LUST program.
• UST Tax Exemptions and Refunds Processing - Reviews and processes UST Tax Exemption certificate applications and associated refunds for non-regulated systems.
• Trend Analysis / National Trends - Conducts research to look for trends in program costs and compare across companies within Arizona as well as nationally.
• Strategic Planning - Discusses section financial trend improvement needs with section management and division leadership, and makes recommendations on necessary/potential updates to AZ statute or rule. Additionally, assist FR team lead/legal specialist with tracking and analyzing FR compliance data and industry trends as they affect commercial liability insurance in Arizona. Discuss program improvement needs with section management and help develop recommendations on necessary/potential changes to processes.

* Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and customer problem resolution related to banking solutions

* Build customer confidence on emerging digital banking trends by educating them on mobile, ATM, and online banking
* Support the frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions; resolve critical issues and report non-standard matters to management

* Participate in the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures

Job Requirements:
* High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience

Role Summary:
The Personal Financial Services Representative (PFR) is an entry level position, which assists members by establishing new member relationships, opening consumer deposit accounts, account maintenance, taking credit applications, reviewing credit reports, working through loan documentation, closing loans, and serving as a Notary Public. Additionally, the PFR can fluidly transition between tasks assisting members, and supporting the branch as an MSA and Sr. MSA. The PFR is excellent at deepening member relationships by referring, following up, and contacting members through phone calls and other communication methods.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Provide exceptional member service to all whom we serve.
* Solve problems, take ownership of member concerns, provide prompt resolutions, and follows up as appropriate. Escalates more complex and sensitive member concerns to senior team members and leadership.
* Have a core understanding of financial literacy, products, and services and be able to fluidly converse with members. Demonstrate an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
* Offer appropriate products and/or services to deepen member relationships and refer to other team members as appropriate.
* Make outbound calls to members for the purpose of establishing, growing, and nurturing member relationships.
* Ensure branch equipment is always working properly and escalates non-repairable issues to leadership.
* Assist non-members with establishing membership.

* Review and process overrides/approvals within authority while minimizing risk.
* Mentor and help train new Member Service Associates (MSAs)
* Assist leadership with branch certifications, cash drawer audits, cash drawer overages, and OFAC reports.
* Fluidly transition between tasks as an MSA or Sr. MSA.
* Perform transactions and service requests on member accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
* Accurately follow all cash handling procedures and balance your cash drawer at the end of every day.
* Issue, record, and file monetary instruments and reports in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
* Assist members with Digital Banking enrollment, navigation, resets, and maintenance.
* Assist members with complex and sensitive fraud disputes.
