Each Financial Support Specialist is a valued member of one or more teams supporting a wide range of software solutions. This position builds and maintains relationships and has regular interaction with senior management, sales relationship managers and business people in the US Funds, Institutional, Global Liquidity, Separately Managed Account businesses. In addition to legal and compliance personnel within the lines of business supported by JPMII and JPMDS.
Contract Administration : Oversight of the standard contract and governance process; ownership of the bespoke/negotiated contracts, mainly Commingled and Global Liquidity; information resource to legal, line of business senior management, sales and service teams in Funds impacted by the contract process; Governance/Controls : Maintain central records for all contracts and respective fee arrangements with financial intermediaries; includes accountability for data integrity and oversight of contract management tool. Maintenance and ownership of department contract procedures. Relationships: Partner with internal legal - running the weekly meeting, manager, compliance, invoice team, product, sales management and management of other functional areas to coordinate effective, fluid and timely management of the contract negotiation process. Decision Making: Expected to make decisions concerning the day-to-day operation of the various entities, exercise good judgment and escalate issues appropriately. Client Support : Anticipate the needs of clients and work to consistently meet or exceed those needs, will require regular interaction with senior level personnel at the Funds' distribution partners. Sales Support: Work independently or in coordination with internal sales team to address client inquiries and respond to information requests. Subject matter expert : Become the agreement expert; fully understand how J.P. Morgan Funds conducts business across various sales channels and client segments.



Qualifications / Preferred skills


Bachelor's degree required - preference given to business-focused disciplines. Prior experience in asset management, compliance, or legal required. Strong time management and organization skills; able to maintain a high quality of work a in a deadline driven environment. Motivated self-starter and client service focused who can work independently and effectively contribute to a team environment. Proactive with a high level of attention to detail; quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities, Must possess continuous process improvement mindset and ability to influence change and increase collaboration throughout the organization. Demonstrate solution-oriented behaviors and lead initiates to enhance processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills - i.e. able to deliver messages and contractual positions clearly in a client-friendly way and succinctly and tailor approach depending on target audience (internal and external stakeholders). FINRA Series 6 or 7 strongly preferred. Strong word, spreadsheet, power point, database and reporting skills.
