Internship Learning Outcomes:
The GBS Financial Analyst Intern will support the GBS Center of Excellence team on design, building, testing, and implementation of new business processes as part of the transformation initiatives. The position requires advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA knowledge as well as thinking outside of the box. In addition, you will be participating in a program that encompasses:
Approximately ten-week summer assignment at Masonite's corporate headquarters in Tampa, FloridaDevelopment of personal and professional skills through training, networking and mentoring relationships Interactions with senior leaders during intern activities such as lunch-and-learn events and leadership dialogues The opportunity to build teamwork skills through interaction with other interns and colleagues

Leadership Relationships:
This role will include exposure to leaders and team members within all of Masonite's GBS pillars both in the US and UK (Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, and Center of Excellence). Some assignments may involve the broader Finance and Accounting organization or Operations teams.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Enhances and supports Masonite's Robotic Process Automation (RPA) program Provide in depth analysis and tracking on variances as well as other financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required Research into data sources and financial metric calculations to build a data model. Development will include back-testing, accuracy checks, model verification, and variance analysis. Forges relationships and partners/collaborates with customers - helping to maintain service level expectations of the CoE. Participates in the continuous improvement activities of the CoE team - identifying issues, problem-solving as well as automation opportunities Exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts, and other pertinent information Will work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment

Primary Purpose


This position is instrumental in collecting and processing information useful for the formation and development of business opportunities for an innovative and growing Environmental Services Company.
