This position is responsible for working with heavy machinery from setup to operation. Fabrication Machine Press Operators fits and fabricates structural steel, completes layout, and inspects finished product, at our, 63-acre facility. Significant heavy manufacturing takes place both in several fab shops, as well as on the waterfront. The successful candidate will support the working men and women on our waterfront.
Detailed Description:
* Operate press brake machine.
* Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
* Use a CNC controller to input information into machine.
* Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
* Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments.
* Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
* Work with tight tolerances.
* Produce parts for assembly operations.
* Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
* Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.
* Perform spot inspections of parts.
* Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures.
* Complete and maintain paperwork.
* Identify assembly parts.
* Set up light gauge metal.
* Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel).
* Check machine for defects and repair if necessary.
* Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned.

* Responsible for setting up and operating metal fabricating machines, such as burning machines, saws and presses, to cut, bend, straighten and form metal plates, sheets and structural shapers according to blueprints and specifications.
* Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation.
* Starts machine and observes machine operation to reposition work piece, change dies or adjust machine settings for multiple or successive passes.

Position Summary:

Position Summary
The Business Advisor, SAP Technical is responsible for acting as a liaison between the users across the FMG organization and the IT department and enhancing the solution platform to meet the needs and goals of the business. Position Summary
The Senior Business Analyst, SAP PP is responsible for acting as a liaison between the users across the FMG organization and the IT department and enhancing the solution platform to meet the needs and goals of the business. Follows directions under intermittent supervision.

Align and fit parts according to specifications.
Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units, following blueprints.
Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials required and task sequences.
Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, cutting torches, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
Lay out and examine metal stock or work pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
Tack-weld fitted parts together.
Remove high spots and cut bevels, using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches.

Position Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installing and repairing wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ship and in shipyard facilities, following blueprints and wiring diagrams. Installs conduit to bulkheads with brackets and screws, using hand tools, and threads wires through conduit to terminals, such as connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and switch panels.
Strip insulation from wire ends and solders ends to terminals, using stripping pliers and soldering iron.
Runs cables, lines and leads, terminations/connector fabrication, packing of cable transits and harnessing cables.
Connects power-supply circuits to radio, radar, sonar, fire control, and other electronic equipment. Tests electrical characteristics, such as voltage, resistance, and phase angle, in circuits, using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and phase rotation indicators. May construct instrument panels, using hand tools, rulers, dividers, and power drills, following specifications.
Test internal circuits of major units or electrical equipment for continuity, short circuits, and grounds and measure electrical quantities and compare with established values.
Must be physically and medically capable to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the job as prescribed under OSHA standards. PPE includes hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, goggles, respirator, safety harness, safety line, flotation gear, etc.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical department activities and schedules at our vast, 63-acre facility. Significant heavy manufacturing takes place both in several fab shops, as well as on the waterfront. The successful candidate will support the 1,000+ working men and women on our waterfront by performing the following duties.
Detailed Description:
Plan and direct work on new construction and repair projects.
Train and instruct employees on most efficient ways of completing a job.
Enter time, enforce company policies, and appraise employee performance.
Serve as a resource to key stakeholders (i.e. crews, leaders, boat reps, senior leadership, etc.).
Read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings to determine materials required and task sequences.
Inspect work progress, equipment, and work sites to ensure that specifications are met.
Work with purchasing to order parts and materials.
Responsible for providing onsite direction and leadership for workers within specific guidelines.
Ability to establish and manage project budgets.
Attend meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems.
Promote a positive company image to staff and customers.
Attendance is an essential function of the job.
Ability and willingness to engage in highly energetic pursuits on the waterfront.
Maintain a commitment to and promote the Quality and Environmental, Health & Safety Policies.
Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 20 to 35 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding's policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Willingness to be a mentor, and demonstrate leadership skills that align with the mission, vision, and values of Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Excellent communication abilities
Highly accountable
Read and understand plans and specifications, including one-line diagrams, cable schedules, ladder diagrams, and loop diagrams
Desired Qualifications:
Prior shipyard experience a plus
3+ years management experience or commensurate education
Prior electrical apprentice/training is desired
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience using Time and Attendance tracking software
Journeyman or equivalent certification
Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Experience with ABS, USCG, NEC, IEEE 45 standards
Ability to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude
