DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: This position reports to the Hoist Division Manager and will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling buck hoist systems on high-rise and large-scale commercial construction sites. This role requires expertise in hoist installation, rigging, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Install buck hoist systems according to engineered drawings and manufacturer specifications to support vertical transportation on commercial construction sites. · Ensure proper anchoring, bracing, and tie-ins to maintain hoist stability and comply with safety standards. · Dismantle buck hoist systems at project completion, ensuring equipment is safely disassembled and prepared for future use. · Utilize proper rigging techniques and coordinate with crane operators and site supervisors for hoist assembly and safe installation. · Assist in performing preventative and needed maintenance on all motorized machinery. · Follow checklists to ensure all essential parts are examined. · Maintain an accurate inventory of all parts. · Provide excellent customer service. · Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Requirements COMPETENCIES: · Proficiency in verbal and written English required. · Able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with the ability to meet required deadlines. · Organization, collaboration, multi-tasking, and attention to detail. · Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with multiple project stakeholders. · Commitment to excellent customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: · 2+ years of experience in installing and dismantling buck hoist systems or related vertical transport equipment in commercial construction. · OSHA 10/30, Fall Protection, and Rigging Certification, preferred. · Strong understanding of mechanical systems, rigging procedures, and structural supports in high-rise or large-scale construction. · This is a full-time position, which can include night and weekend work. · Ability to maintain an active state issued driver's license.
