The average employee age for finishers is 40 years. The finisher workforce reached a whopping 59,101 in 2020!

Among finishers, we discovered that 29.2% of them are women, while 66.8% are men. The most common race/ethnicity among finishers is White, which makes up 68.1% of all finishers. Comparatively, there are 19.6% of the Hispanic or Latino ethnicity and 7.1% of the Black or African American ethnicity. Finishers are also more likely to work at private companies in comparison to public companies. Taking it a step further, finishers are more likely to find a job in the manufacturing industry.

From where do we know all information about finisher demographics? We analyzed 8,227 finishers resumes to find out what the average demographics are for the job position. Just to be clear, by demographics we mean the study of population-based factors like age, race, and sex. On top of scouring through resumes, we also took note of job proposals from employers and Census Bureau data. And guess what? We found some pretty interesting information.
