Your training is centered around learning the role of front-line operational supervisors and gain new insight into safety, maintenance and transportation procedures. This orientation enables you to observe supervisors during the operational shifts (inbound, outbound, city and DC) of an ABF Freight Service Center. You will also have a glimpse into Sales by spending time with ArcBest Account Managers. By accompanying account managers on client presentations, you will learn the dynamics of proactively managing ArcBest accounts. After training, you will be placed in one of our more than 240 facilities across the continental United States as an Operations Supervisor. Responsibilities Provide a clean, safe working environment for all personnel and visiting customers. Coordinate work assignments and monitor performances.
