Verify equipment and systems installed comply with appropriate install details, requirements manufacture and/or contract drawings, completeness and quality. Develop list of items that need corrected with Trade Superintendents and/or Shop Managers. Track and oversee items on list to completion.
Perform Level 2 installation inspections documenting equipment as received and as set in place (ready for energization). Work through resolution of owner punch items relating to install scope quality with Trade Superintendents, Shop Managers, and other team members.

Tours and inspects small or large, complex job sites to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Reports concerns to safety management. Ensures Enforcement of OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Documents safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures. Provides recommendations for correcting non-compliance issues. Ensures cited issues are corrected within designated timeframe.
Maintains all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports and training logs. Uses information to track trends and injury rates. Develops current and future loss control strategies and implements corrective actions to prevent similar incidents.
Provides emergency response to employees as needed. Participates in and documents information for the investigation of accidents and injuries and submits data to regulatory agencies as required.
Contributes to updating training materials and coordinates and facilitates employee training as necessary.
Directs the workflow of less-experience safety employees

Responsible for processing all aspects of the weekly union multi state and multi trade payroll for the division. Provides exceptional customer service and support to union employees coordinating as needed with division Foremen, Superintendents, and Construction Managers. Offers accounting assistance to the Division Accounting Department and Corporate Payroll.
What you'll do:
Processes weekly payroll for union employees at the division level. This includes multiple trade unions across various states.
Works with union employees and supervisors to ensure that time is approved, captured, and processed accurately and timely.
Administers accurate employee payroll records, including new hire paperwork, payroll form updates, status change forms, and employee terminations.
Helps monitor and track employee paid time off balances (vacation, holiday, jurisdictionally mandated sick and safe leave, and other personal time off) and provides updated reports to management regularly.
Helps to coordinate and process any necessary payroll adjustments ensuring the proper documentation has been provided, including wage rate or fringe adjustments, expense reports, travel pay, subsistence, allowance, or other pay corrections.

* You'll prepare documentation for the investigation of accidents and injuries and submit data to regulatory agencies as required.

As a Senior Mechanical Service Technician, you will perform all HVAC/R troubleshooting and repairs necessary to keep existing facilities and systems within those facilities operating in an efficient manner. This work can include the inspection, service, maintenance, start-up, testing, balancing, adjusting, repair, modification and replacement of mechanical and refrigeration equipment and components including related piping connections and controls. Watch your engineering designs come to life! As a Design Engineer II at Southland Industries, you'll experience the excitement of working on design-build and design-assist projects in healthcare, education, biotech, mission critical, commercial and entertainment markets. You'll work hand in hand with our model coordinators, estimators, and trade staff through all aspects of a project to create a design that is practical, efficient and cost effective. **What you'll do:**
+ Performs more complex calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, etc.
+ Prepares preliminary redline design layouts for estimating
+ May be responsible for a single phase of a project

+ Responsible for Code compliance
+ Review applicable codes and criteria and examine field conditions as required to support design of project
