We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented EMT to join our dynamic mobile wound care team. This position is integral to delivering high-quality, specialized wound care in patients' homes, skilled nursing facilities, and clinic settings. Replenish wound care kits and maintain organized “go bags” for efficient daily operations. Assist in processing wound care orders in collaboration with the provider and Practice Manager. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation of wound treatments and patient interactions. Wound Care Coordination & Scheduling: Work with the Practice Manager to optimize the daily wound visit and consultation schedule. Confirm patient appointments the day before and provide estimated arrival times on the day of the visit. Coordinate wound care visits with primary care physicians (PCPs), specialists, and home health providers. Ensure all necessary wound care documentation, orders, and medical records are obtained and processed correctly. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. EMT Certification required. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical practice setting, preferably in wound care.
