What You Will Need: * Therapists rendering mental health services are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a Master's degree in Counseling or Social work and hold an active, LPC or LSW license through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist (CSWMFT) Board. * Therapists rendering substance use services are required to have an associate's degree in Behavioral Science or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and hold an active, LCDC-II or LCDC-III license through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board * Therapists are required to maintain professional licenses through compliance with rules set forth by the licensing Boards including, but not limited to, completion of CEs necessary to maintain licensure and completion of license renewal applications. * Heart Saver, Aegis Crisis Prevention, and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire. * Successful completion of a 180-day probationary period.

Involves natural support persons, self-help resources, and other community integration activities as critical components to long-term recovery. Decreases length and frequency of sessions as patients prepare for discharge. * Understands the role of Patient Care Standards (PCS) as a measure of our commitment to serving those in need and ensuring that access to care is provided. Ensures PCS standards are met and actively utilizes and responds to strategies provided through supervision when there are challenges in meeting these standards. * Performs tasks necessary to support revenue including timely and accurate documentation within departmental guidelines; maintaining current treatment plans; and complying with ongoing prior-authorizations for services when applicable. Performs tasks related to grants or other special projects as assigned. * Effectively and efficiently utilizes EMR and video-conferencing software. Utilizes work email on a daily basis keeping current with FRMC and departmental communications. For new hires, these skills are in place by the end of the probationary period. Skills and Experience Experience/skill or willingness to obtain skills in working with a variety of special populations including early childhood, traumatized and victimized children & youth, transition-aged adolescents, youth with sexual behavior problems, chronic & severely emotionally/behaviorally impaired youth. Ability to engage a wide range of clients and parents, including those from diverse populations, and those uncertain about the value and/or necessity of MH services. Ability to work effectively with other professionals both within and outside the mental health profession. The position is primarily responsible for the provision of direct client care services under a LPCC-S. Provides individual counseling, group counseling, family/couples counseling, and case management and support to clients engaged in outpatient treatment services with the counseling department. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct psychiatric diagnostic assessments to determine medical necessity. * Develop, implement, and update Individual Service Plans with the client in accordance with OAC standards and FCS policy/procedure. * Provide psychotherapy/counseling services to clients through individual, group, and/or family methods. * Review and update progress, and diagnoses in accordance with OAC standards and FCS policy/procedure to ensure continued provision of proper and necessary services. * Maintain client records in accordance with OAC standards and F&CS policy/procedure. * At a minimum, achieve and maintain the Agency's established productivity standards. * Coordinate and communicate with other community agencies to insure effective inter-agency cooperation. * Maintain current knowledge of all applicable FCS policies/procedures and function according to these standards. * Enter and maintain daily schedule into computer as required. * At a minimum, achieve and maintain the Agency's established productivity standards.
