Travel is required throughout Southern California for court appearances, hearings, depositions, and other litigation activities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Handle in-house litigation for FNF claims, managing cases from initial evaluation through trial. Represent FNF and its subsidiaries in a broad range of real property, title insurance, escrow, and related civil litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents. Conduct and defend depositions, argue motions, appear at hearings, and prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, or trial. Analyze claim files, assess exposure, and develop litigation strategies aligned with business and claims objectives. Collaborate closely with claims counsel, underwriting teams, and other internal stakeholders. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Utilize dedicated support staff and internal resources to advance case strategy and promote efficient file handling. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California. Prior civil litigation experience with courtroom appearances. Trial experience or significant hands-on litigation responsibility. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to travel throughout Southern California for hearings, depositions, and trials. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $150,000 - $190,000 annually based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience.
