The First Mate will assist the Captain in the safe and courteous operation of the Water Taxi. The First Mate will be responsible for keeping the boat in a clean and safe condition and will assist customers on and off the boat. Essential Functions: Assist the Captain of the Water Taxi for the safe and courteous operation of the boat. Assist riders of the Water Taxi on and off the boat. Maintain the boat in a clean and organized manner as directed by the Captain. Help maintain the Port office, dock and surrounding area as directed by the Captain. Representing the Cleveland Metroparks in a polite and professional manner at all times. Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns. The schedule is part time 8 hr. day shifts with call requirement.
