Position Summary
Independently handles routine employee and customer inquiries with a goal of first point contact resolution and limited escalation while maintaining quality communication. Performs a range of customer service-oriented communication by telephone, email, chat, message, phone, or fax, as well as various operational background duties.

Qualifications Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on business, finance, computer science or related field preferred.

Maintains a cash drawer by performing daily balancing procedures and assist with daily operational branch duties.
Open accounts including but not limited to checking, savings, safe deposit box, basic business related, etc.
Performs changes to existing accounts as requested by the customer.
Proactively looks for ways to improve processes that will improve the customer's experience and communicate those ideas to branch management.
If applicable, allows entry of safe deposit box holders.
Maintains professional appearance and conduct within the guidelines set forth in Employee Handbook.
Maintains customer confidentiality.
May participate in bank promotions, external community events, and promotional activities.
May be required to work in other First Mid Banking centers.
Complete other specified duties as assigned.
Sales:
Develops and maintains relationships with business partners.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers.
Educate and encourage customers to use alternate delivery systems such as ATM, Debit Card, Online, and Mobile Banking.
Maintains knowledge of all banking products through training courses, branch meetings, corporate communications, etc.
Identifies growth opportunities to cross sell products and makes referrals to appropriate business lines.
Consistently meet or exceed established goals for the position.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Experience:
1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience and/or previous experience working in a financial institution preferred.
Previous sales experience preferred.
Successfully completes required compliance and First Mid training curriculum to be proficient in the basic account opening process. Advancement in this role will be based on management discretion.

Position Summary
Responsible for independently performing a variety of complex duties related to online banking, electronic banking products and services including, but not limited to, ATM terminals and cards, debit, online banking, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, eFunds, Treasury Management (TM), and ACH transactions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assists in successful operation of the Bank's electronic products and services by following written policies and procedures
Receives, distributes, and responds to emails for the Bank's website
Trains employees and customers on electronic services and products
Troubleshoots problems and researches discrepancies related to electronic products
Communicates and works with Deposit Operations, Deposit Services, and Retail Administration, as well as various other departments
Ensures reported errors are investigated and resolved within the required timeframe
Creates, reviews, and maintains various reports, logs, and documentation in accordance with record retention schedule; sends to applicable department or committee accordingly
Assists with various Treasury Management duties, as needed
Compliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.
Online Banking duties may include:
Coordinates operation of the Bank's Online Banking services
Places stop payments for Bill Pay transactions, as requested by customers
Assigns temporary passwords for customers on the Online Banking system
Processes Online Banking ACH origination files; performs return notifications
Distributes wire and stop payment information to appropriate department
Oversees malfunctions and maintenance of Online Banking; provides technical support
Performs audits on eCorp clients to ensure ACH compliance; audits of applicants and account maintenance for ATM and Debit Cards
Monitors Online Banking users for suspicious activity and check fraud
Serves as administrator for Online Chat services
ATM and Debit Card duties may include:
Coordinates operation of the Bank's ATM network; serves as contact for third party servicing vendors and frontline staff; oversees ATM malfunctions and repairs; assists in new ATM installations
Performs balancing and settlement of the Bank's ATM system and cash accounts; submits reports to the Accounting Department; researches out-of-balance situations; resolves customer and frontline discrepancies
Responsible for purchasing, inventory, data retention, and distribution of ATM, Debit, and Gift Cards, including PINs; follows policy and procedures for hot cards
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university OR Two (2) years related experience and/or training in a financial institution OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the job.

Researches teller outages and makes every effort in recovery; balances the teller GL account for assigned branch on time each month
Responsible for maintaining office building, grounds, equipment and fixtures; contacts appropriate department manager for service or maintenance, as needed
Maintains contact with local real estate brokers, builders, outside vendors and sales agents
Prepares reports and performs tests and audits for management and/or various departments as required
Conducts weekly staff meetings and quarterly security meetings
Maintains knowledge of all bank products and services; communicates product features and benefits to customers and branch personnel
Cross-sells and refers bank products and services, including insurance and investment services, and increases customer relationships
Handles inquiries from customers and office personnel; resolves complaints
Demonstrates exceptional customer service; assists customers daily
Promotes and enhances the corporate culture and fosters the development and implementation of the organizational vision
Performs Universal Banker 1 and 2 duties, including but not limited to new account functions, maintenance, teller duties, check orders, ATM and debit card orders, stop payments, and wire transfers, on a daily basis and according to applicable policy and procedures
Supervises cash vault operations, procedures, and maintains limit
Complies with specific job related BSA policies and procedures, including but not limited to: obtains proper identification; completes CIP requirements; completes and submits Customer Transaction Reports (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), Monetary Cash Sale Forms on time and in accordance with BSA policy; recognizes “red flags”; reports suspicious or unusual requests to the BSA and Security Officers; performs OFAC scans in accordance with BSA policy
Compliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development, and public relations
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
