Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize business requirements for strategic projects, product enhancements, and production support related to banking efficiency and productivity.
* Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements by engaging stakeholders and translating business needs into detailed specifications.
* Develop user stories and acceptance criteria and participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

* Work with the Product Owner and vendor partners to monitor product enhancements, evaluate software releases, and address support cases.

* Manage and triage support tickets, analyze issues, and drive resolution in partnership with technical teams and vendors.
* Provide training and support to end users, assisting with adoption and ongoing improvement efforts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
* Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with user story writing required.
* 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with exposure to digital workflow platforms.
* Strong communication skills, with experience in facilitating meetings and documenting requirements.
* Ability to build relationships across business functions, technology teams, and vendor partners.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Financial services experience strongly preferred.

+ Perform initial review of documents required for foreclosure or simple contested litigation, gathering of backup and submission to Tier 2 Reviewer for further review and execution.
+ Review equity position and prepare necessary equity analysis for potential charge off.
+ Provide sale results to investor, MI companies and other necessary parties, updating systems as required.
+ Work with attorneys to ensure proper reporting of foreclosure status to investors.
+ Manage a variety of assigned tasks to hold, close or proceed with foreclosure taking action within the required service level agreement.
+ Complete daily Sale Result QC for Foreclosure team. Monitor, distribute and respond to emails sent to Team email boxes. Receive, review and distribute legal mail received in Customer Asset Management (CAM) pertaining to residential property in which the bank has an interest, to avoid risk of loss to the bank or its investors and work with in house counsel and management to determine if external counsel must be engaged to represent M&T.
+ Request checks for disbursement of bid deposit, senior lien payoff and settlements.
+ Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
+ Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

**Summary**
The Centralized Commercial Lending - Renewal Team is searching for a Commercial Underwriter II responsible for evaluating business loan applications based on established Bank policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities**

Prepare Credit Origination Memorandum in a clearly written concise manner, identifying strengths, risks and mitigating factors. Review, analyze and evaluate financial and pertinent data to determine credit worthiness of loan prospects and merits of specific loan requests. Collaborate with Relationship Managers, leaders and Relationship Managers to gather all necessary information to present an accurate and complete assessment of the loan presented.
+ Ability to prepare high quality, detailed credit approval documents that contain an in-depth analysis, an understanding of and identification of credit issues and risks. Ability to spread and interpret financial statements, tax returns, and projections using Excel.
+ Ability to provide recommendations on loan structuring and alternative structures that may be more appropriate for the transaction.
+ Ability to work in a high-volume environment, meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements and turn time goals throughout the process, providing credit decisions in a timely manner.
+ Work independently on special projects related to credit topics and issues as requested by Bank Credit team(s).
