Summary of the Job: As a part of this team you will play a critical role in the success of FNBO and the experience for our customers! How many times a day do we use our credit cards, or debit cards? This role would work within our Embossing team to create credit, debit/ATM and third party cards for FNBO and its affiliates. For these processes, you would be utilizing Entrust embossing and inserting equipment. In addition, you would also responsible for assisting on the mail functions of the department, and other duties as assigned. A secure environment is of the utmost importance, this team is under general supervision and continually monitored by security cameras. Available shift hours will fall between the hours of 4:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend shifts and shifts outside of the hours listed may be required based on business need. About This Role: Check out this video for a day in the life in Central Issuance. Responsibilities: Operates Entrust MX6000/MX8100 card production machines and DPP software. Operates Entrust DX5100 inserting machine. Performs normal equipment maintenance functions on all machines, and initiates fixes where appropriate. Performs balancing and inventory functions of the plastics assigned to produce. Monitors quality control of all computer generated output and informs management of problems. Prepares all out going credit cards for mailing. Researches and updates returned account correspondence. Updates accounts with bad addresses using the Embossing Address Change program. Receives, sorts, and distributes all returned mail. Researches and distributes customer requests for various FNBO products and services to the proper department. Adjusts sequence of work within constraints of overall schedules to optimize productivity. Personally solve various problems which arise during the workday, which include machine and non-machine problems. The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Required: High School graduate or equivalent. Reading, analytical, mathematical and interpersonal skills are required. Experience in Production Control Operations is desired. Experience using automated inserting equipment, PC experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, TBS), and typing skills are strongly desired. Team Dynamics/ Work Environment: We work as a team, you will work closely with the entire Embossing staff and the Entrust service engineers on a daily basis. You will also be expected to interact and communicate with internal and external FNBO customers. Your team depends on you, regular and predictable attendance is required. You may have varying scheduled hours depending on your assigned shift. You will be expected to work onsite within our highly secured site in downtown Omaha. Normal maintenance of machines is required to keep them up and running, you will assist with this work. Summary of the Job: We're seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to guide our team's evolution from traditional monitoring and incident response toward true SRE practices. About This Role: Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of advanced monitoring frameworks, establish monitoring best practices, and mentor teammates on leveraging monitoring tools for proactive identification and resolution of issues Partner with application teams to improve observability and incident prevention Architect and oversee system reliability optimization strategies with the objectives of enhancing system capabilities, ensuring superior performance for our customers, and fostering a culture of continuous innovation/improvement Spearhead the growth and evolution of the Site Reliability Engineering practice at FNBO, establishing technical standards and driving adoption of SRE principles Direct critical incident response activities, providing technical leadership during high-severity incidents to ensure rapid resolution and minimal service disruption Identify opportunities to automate manual monitoring and response tasks Champion infrastructure-as-code and automation initiatives where applicable Drive toil reduction initiatives through automation and process improvement Participate in architecture reviews with focus on operability, monitoring, and resiliency Serve as a key participant in post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective actions Analyze system performance trends and capacity utilization, identifying opportunities for improvement Collaborate with security and engineering teams to improve system reliability Support 24/7 monitoring operations for critical banking systems and applications Optimize alerting strategies to reduce noise and improve mean time to detection Maintain and enhance monitoring dashboards and reporting capabilities Direct critical incident response activities, providing technical leadership during high-severity incidents to ensure rapid resolution and minimal service disruption Provide technical governance for Change Control processes, evaluating complex changes and establishing risk mitigation strategies Foster operational knowledge sharing and documentation of tribal knowledge Begin establishing SLIs/SLOs for critical services in partnership with product teams Introduce error budget concepts and reliability metrics and facilitate reliability/velocity trade-off discussions The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in software development or site reliability Proven track record managing high-availability, mission-critical systems Expert-level experience with monitoring platforms Strong troubleshooting and crisis response capabilities Broad software development capabilities from scripting to application development to infrastructure as code Familiarity with DORA metrics and DevOps measurement frameworks Understanding of network protocols, databases, and system architecture Understanding of deployment pipeline reliability and release engineering practices Strong communication skills for executive reporting and cross-team coordination This position will support our broker-dealer and therefore will be subject to certain supervisory requirements.
