We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our IT team and support a rapidly growing North American-based manufacturing organization working remotely. This role is critical to ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access to our best-in-class enterprise systems, including cloud based, SaaS and on-prem solutions, as well as a wide portfolio of niche manufacturing and enterprise applications. Primary responsibilities include: Help develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures for the enterprise which include both human identities and non-human identities. Onboarding/Offboarding - Automating provisioning/deprovisioning via PowerShell or other. Manage user lifecycle (provisioning, de-provisioning, RBAC, access reviews) and integrate IAM with cloud services. Maintain proper directory health, optimization, and hygiene Designing role-based access models ensuring least privilege and segregation of duties. Integrate IAM processes with HRMS (Workday) and additional key systems and services (SAP, Salesforce, O365, MES, EAM). Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access Policies, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Just-in-time (JIT) Access, federation (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth,), RADIUS, Public and Private Certificate Authority, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), Certificate-based Authentication (CBA), Passwordless authentication. Develop self-service IAM capabilities: Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), Self-Service Access Requests, Delegated Administration. Automate IAM workflows and identity lifecycle events via scripting and APIs. Monitor IAM operations, generate compliance reports, and support audits. Remediate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and gaps identified through various sources such as press releases, vendor announcements, ad hoc risk assessments, pen testing, and proactive system reviews. Implement service architectures that are robust, highly available, and fault-tolerant. Prove Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness through regular testing Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and support security incident response as part of the 3rd level support team. Work closely with the Cybersecurity IAM and IT Infrastructure teams to review and implement security requirements, policies, and tools. Partner with Cybersecurity, Compliance and Risk Management, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, and other business unit or department stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess the following: Required: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5+ years specific IAM engineering experience or equivalent in a large enterprise. Proficiency with Directory Services (Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory) and IAM Platforms (Okta, SailPoint, or similar). Experience integrating IAM with systems like Workday (HRMS) , SAP (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), O365, MES, and EAM systems. Experience with Privileged Access Management systems and platforms (CyberArk PAM, or other). Demonstrated ability to manage hybrid identity between on-prem and cloud. Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, API integrations). Deep knowledge of RBAC, SSO, MFA, PAM, and federation protocols and core concepts such as least privilege and need to know Preferred: Experience in manufacturing/CPG industries. Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, Azure Security, Okta Certified, or SailPoint Certified. Soft Skills: Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Our client, a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Senior Electrical Engineer. the Professional Engineer (PE) will have expertise in electrical systems including electrical distributed power generation, feeds, distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, UPS, and low voltage systems. The PE is responsible for overseeing the engineering of these systems for major capital projects and initiatives from conceptualization through programming, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and close out. The PE will be responsible for multiple high-complexity projects of diverse scope that require an understanding of state of the art construction techniques and a high level of expertise in electrical systems, as well as rigor in compliance, and the highest standard of care. Science projects include research laboratories, vivarium, pilot scale manufacturing, major scientific equipment, amenity space, outdoor plaza, site lighting, and infrastructure projects. The PE shall collaborate with the project team to effectively identify innovative solutions and bring clarity to the project process using a sophisticated analytical approach and sound judgement. Core focus areas include defining and meeting project goals for electrical systems, reviewing budgets, schedules, scopes, and quality, as well as risk mitigation and responding to field conditions and construction logistics and challenges. The PE will be responsible to lead design teams and Construction Managers in both the pre-construction due diligence, design and scoping process with a focus on quality management, project controls, and user engagement as well as leading their teams through the bidding and construction administration process with a focus on field coordination, commissioning, substantial completion and close out. Responsibilities Assists the Project Management team in developing the budget and schedule for design and construction projects, including renovations and green field projects. Works closely with Project Management, Engineering, Space Planning, EHS, Operations, and User teams to fully and rigorously document the electrical system requirements in the Owner's Project Requirements document. Performs preliminary due diligence explorations of existing electrical systems during project initiation to identify any potential risks to the project and any opportunities for improving the building systems of existing buildings. Assists the Project Manager and Procurement in the development of scopes of work for design professionals, construction managers, general contractors and commissioning agent RFPs. Assist in the evaluation and bid leveling of proposals. Participates in regular project meetings. Works directly with hired MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors to answer questions, resolve issues and develop solutions. Provides supervision for all stages of the development and documentation of electrical requirements for lab and other equipment for the project. Collaborates with the Project Management team, internal engineers, end users, the Asset Management team, EHS, design professionals, lab equipment vendors, design professionals and contractors to ensure that all electrical system requirements for the equipment are met. Provides detailed reviews of and comments on due diligence reports, test fits, Basis of Design documents, room data sheets, construction documents and specifications prepared by the design professionals, checking for thoroughness, accuracy and compliance with the project requirements, design and documentation standards and minimize errors and omissions. Identifies long lead time equipment for potential Early Works purchasing by the contractor Works with the Project Managers, Design Professionals and Contractors to find solutions to mitigate costs and schedule delays due to errors and omissions in the design documents and unforeseeable field conditions Reviews shop drawings and submittals, RFI responses, and Change Orders Makes frequent site visits to ensure that electrical requirements are being implemented correctly during construction and creates field reports. Reviews Design Professional punch lists. Manages commissioning, auditing, & validating facilities systems for Capital Projects. Assists the Asset Management and Operations team in preparing equipment lists for import into the Integrated Workplace Management System Coaches and Mentors other members of engineering staff and supervises day to day operation of electrical systems. Interacts with municipalities and Con-Ed to obtain building permits and inspections. Supervises, coordinates, and schedules work with outside contractors and internal technicians. Audits, tests, commissions, and validates Facilities systems and also provide specialized engineering support services to RGC, PMPD, PCD, IT, & Vivarium groups. Job Description The Mechanical Engineer 2 works on moderately complex electro-mechanical product development projects. This role includes designing, analyzing, and testing components and assemblies while collaborating across teams. It suits engineers with 2-5 years of experience ready to take on more independent design responsibilities. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Independently design and improve mechanical assemblies and components. Perform basic thermal and stress analysis using analytical and simulation tools. Develop and execute component-level test plans and validation reports. Contribute to new product development within a stage-gate framework. Support manufacturing by working with suppliers, quality, and production teams. Apply GD&T and conduct tolerance stack-up analysis. Assist with the creation of documentation for design reviews and regulatory compliance. Experience and Qualifications: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2-5 years of experience with electro-mechanical product design. Required skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and mechanical drawings (SolidWorks preferred). Working knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis. Strong understanding of mechanical system design and material properties. Ability to conduct engineering calculations for thermal, structural, and dynamic behavior. Experience with cross-functional project collaboration. Technical writing and presentation skills. Preferred skills: Familiarity with FEA (mechanical and thermal), CFD, or simulation software. Experience with motion control systems or automation. Understanding of statistical tools and data analysis (e.g., Minitab, Excel, MATLAB). Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and cost optimization. Exposure to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 environments. Identify, evaluate and implement potential solutions to resolve conflicts identified during the work. Conduct assessments and investigations. Duties include determining the appropriate processes to be used, assembly and operation of testing apparatuses, directing the making and repairing of destructive openings in roofing and wall systems. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement PLC and HMI applications to improve the manufacturing process. Collaborate on the design of industrial control systems for new equipment or redesign for existing equipment. Work with project engineers to test & verify equipment and line control programs and identify any design deficiencies. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure company wide controls and automation strategy is followed. Communicate with industry experts in controls and automation hardware and software to improve existing equipment control systems to ensure up to date hardware and software is in place in line with company strategy. Create, maintain and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD as needed. Assist in the troubleshooting of complex automation issues through various control systems using RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Studio ME, FactoryTalk Studio SE, and other applications. Communicate locally and organizationally with department heads and other key teammates to ensure equipment problems are addressed in a timely fashion. Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) Associates degree or diploma from an accredited college or equivalent relevant experience required; course work with emphasis in controls and automation is preferred. At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in automation & controls with a focus on manufacturing and control systems programming and integration, preferably in the food and beverage or consumer products industry. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE) Proven PLC/PAC/HMI/Network programming knowledge applying Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Studio ME/SE, FT Transaction Manager, FT Historian, Ethernet/IP, AutoCad, SQL, OPC Servers, and MS Office Suite. Familiar with SAP and/or MES systems. SAP DM experience is a plus. Strict alignment to safety rules and regulations. Able to successfully work in a team environment. National Electrical code application experience. Strong verbal, organizational and written communication skills. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
