We are seeking an individual who can work well independently when needed and is skilled in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, boilers, and general maintenance work.
Requirements:
Responds to changes in organization and property by assuming additional responsibilities as needed, such as going to other sites, per the
union contract Section 9.6 and posting provisions.

Shares in on-call rotation.
Having your own tools is very helpful.

About the Role
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance Team repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Possesses a basic set of hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drill bits) and is comfortable using them.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Able to lift 50 lbs. and physically handle tasks like bending, reaching, crawling, etc.
Willing to be on-call for emergencies and snow removal (rotating schedule)
The preferred candidate will live in the greater Nashua area and must successfully pass a pre-employment background screening.

Job Functions:
Full-Time, Monday - Friday.
Responsible for inventory control and purchasing in conjunction with the manager.
Meets and communicates with site managers regularly to update each other on on-site issues.
Assumes on-call responsibilities for emergencies, shared with others where applicable.
Works with manager to coordinate contracts and oversee contractor activities.
Responds to daily emergencies and routine service work orders in a professional and timely manner.
Maintains the appearance of the site by collecting and discarding refuse from common areas and throughout the site daily.
Performs preventative maintenance schedule per site requirements.
Other Job Functions:
Maintains a clean and well-groomed appearance, and wears company-issued uniforms.
Is courteous to residents at all times.
Requirements:
Ability to respond effectively to site emergencies.
Strong knowledge of carpentry, and general repair and maintenance duties.
Experience with major repairs involving carpentry, such as deck work, stair replacements, etc.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to get to the site in a timely manner to respond to emergencies.
Ability to utilize basic computer skills and use First Realty computer programs.
Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and residents.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to safely operate power tools, such as saws and drills.
Must pass a pre-employment physical before the start of work.
