    The Developer Services Department is a specialized, customer facing department that handles all developer related association matters for new developments, including new community phasing, processing initial sales, budget updates and implementation, billing unsold lots, and reviewing bond status. The Developer Services Specialist leads the Developer Services Coordinator and is the point of contact for all internal and external clients of assigned associations, and liaison for all escrow related matters. Ideal Candidate MUST have: strong Excel skills, problem solving skills, strong communication skills, and preferably builder/HOA/Escrow experience. Compensation: $26-31.25/hr FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Job Responsibilities: * Serve as initial point of contact for new developer clients, introducing builder to FirstService annexation and billing process * Participate in new association launch meetings for new contracted developments * Responsible for onboarding new developments and intake of new phases, including: * Review of CC&Rs, public reports, address lists, developer agreements * Create initial assessment registers and updates register for new phase units * Preparation of blanket demands for escrow * Phase writeup process * New phase upload to customer portal, Connect * Obtain and implement new DRE phasing budget * Field issues / inquiries from builder clients and manage through to resolution * Monthly billing to various builders, including generation of invoice, payment application, managing builder delinquencies. * Implement new phase annexation by obtaining appropriate Department of Real Estate documents/filings and making necessary system updates. * Process first-time closing between builder and homeowner, including move-out of builder and move-in of new owner; update all office and accounting systems. * Monthly billing to builders; generate invoice; post payment; report builder delinquencies. * Facilitate assessment bond release process for Developer, Community Manager, and HOA Board of Directors * Implement unit changes in CARIA and phase setup chargebacks for corporate billing to HOA * Create and retain electronic images of all invoicing, closing, and annexation/phasing documents. * Remote deposit processing via check scanner * Preparation of manual deposits where applicable * Process on-line electronic deposit checks for clients and monitor the destruction of checks on a monthly basis. * Pick-up of all checks/mail from deposit drop sites and office mailboxes. * Sort and distribute mail to appropriate parties for processing. * Opening of mail and batching checks in preparation for deposit. * Ensure compliance with data privacy and secure handling of sensitive documents. * Deliver professional and courteous customer service to external and internal clients. * Prepare special billings and reconciliations as requested. * Produce title searches as required * Other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications: * Strong accounting skills particularly accounts receivable. * Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel. * Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word and Outlook). * Good written and verbal communication skills.
