Primary Responsibilities: * Assist in the negotiation of repayment plans and recommend accounts for legal action * Provide assistance to Specialist in the maintenance of legal documentation submitted to attorneys * Gather loan documentation to support legal cases, including miscellaneous research requests * Monitor status of legal cases, reviewing accounts and cases for action/follow up * Respond to attorney communications, escalating to leadership as appropriate * Process recovery payments as applicable * Respond to member inquiries regarding case status * Coordinate the delivery of all incoming and outgoing department communications Experience and Education Requirement: * Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED * Minimum 4 years' experience in office administration, preferably in the financial services industry; experience with charge off collections is preferred * Strong knowledge of FDCPA is preferred * Strong knowledge of financial industry operating areas including functions, products & services is preferred * Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment * Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences * Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Proven ability to professionally handle sensitive documents * Good research, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with an excellent attention to detail * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Certification/License: N/A Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro, OR 97124 Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $25.03 - $29.95 per hour + annual bonus Benefits options include: * Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage * 401K matching up to 5% per pay period * Paid Time Off: You'll accrue up to 15 vacation days in your first year.
