Summary
The Pump Mechanic will repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment.
Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
Repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment
Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment
Install equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances
Read and understand an IOM and BOM
Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
Advanced mechanical aptitude required
3-5 years of experience working with rotating equipment (mainly pumps) including but not limited to API and ANSI Pumps, centrifugal and plunger pumps, all brands of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, H-pumps, gear boxes and rotary valves (Preferred)
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Experience with alignment methods and tools including laser alignment (Preferred)
Have the ability or learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals and posses ability to work with basic math
Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
Applicant must be customer driven
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Must have positive "can-do" attitude
Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety procedures and regulations
Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision
Background check, physical, and drug test required
Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines

JOB SUMMARY Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial vehicles, including forklifts, railcar movers, container handlers, and terminal tractors. Perform routine maintenance and breakdown repair work in the field at customer sites. Prioritize work orders, comply with safety incident reporting, and ensure all paperwork is submitted timely and accurately. Inspect used parts to determine changes in factory specifications.
Review repair work and scheduled maintenance results with customers, communicating any potential issues. Responsible for field quoting and communicating services to customers.
Utilize the Mobile Service application to close the day, fill out work orders, obtain customer signatures, finalize jobs, and mark them as complete.
Provide daily status updates to the dispatchers and review any customer issues or concerns with the dispatcher and account manager.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION

2+ years of experience in a service technician role.
Previous experience with hydraulics and computer diagnostics. Ability to interpret and apply schematic diagrams.

Position Overview
Our Summer Analyst/Associate Internship program mirrors the analyst experience to give you an understanding of our business and experience project work at Charles River Associates. Throughout the 8-10 week program, Analyst/Associate Interns work alongside senior colleagues to deliver live client consulting projects within the practice area. During the Cyber and Forensic Technology Analyst/Associate Internship program, you may work on many aspects of a project:
Assist with security and privacy investigations in response to data security matters, which may include ongoing breaches and fraud;
Engage in problem solving and forensic analysis of digital information using standard computer forensic and evidence handling techniques and tools;
Apply investigative techniques, scientific reasoning, and digital forensic techniques against various systems to answer questions;
Identify, research, and organize information to determine what a hacker did to a compromised system, whether data was stolen from a company asset, or what data to assess and provide in a litigation;
Defensibly collect digital evidence and complete chain-of-custody documentation;
Leverage your programming, model building, and database administration skills (including using Python, T-SQL, VBA, Excel, C#, and/or other programming languages and tools);
Share investigative and analytical findings, and assist with the drafting of written reports to summarize procedures performed and findings;
Stay current with developments in digital forensics, e-discovery, and incident response.

Desired Qualifications

Summary:

* Read and understand an IOM and BOM

Alignments- is able to perform alignments in a satisfactory manner using TSC alignment equipment.
