Summary:

UNC Health Orthopedics at Southeastern Health Park in Lumberton, NC seeks an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our growing practice. HIGHLIGHTS is a combination of outpatient clinic and operating room first assist * Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm

REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.
Professional Experience Requirements: APP experience preferred. Operating Room First Assist experience preferred. Upcoming and newly graduated APPs are welcome to apply.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
