About the role
In a Project Management - Technology role, you'll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the implementation of core products and services for our new and existing Community Core Clients.
This role is hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days remote
About the team
The candidate will be a member of our Community Core Onboarding PMO. The Community Core Onboarding PMO developed its project management methodology over many years and hundreds of successfully executed projects.
Our Methodology is mature, repeatable and well-documented and is followed by all Client Onboarding PMO project managers to better lead clients and FIS resource teams through complex and transformational projects.
Our Community Core PMO leads our onboarding efforts for new HORIZON, Affinity Edge core clients, as well as projects for acquisitions, mergers and core migrations from one FIS core to another.
What you will be doing
• Project Management for our Community Core PMO, projects could include new core implementation, acquisition projects, or other core technology projects such as core migrations from one FIS core product to another.
• Plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.
• Working with Implementation team, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams. As well as facilitating client facing and internal tracking meetings to keep the project on track.
• Managing project risk, issues, scope creep and assisting with problem resolution. Daily internal status updates as well as weekly or bi-weekly client and internal team status reporting.
• Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
• Project Managers must be able to manager up to three projects at a time and also could act as a Program Manager and Core PM for one project.
• May work at client sites from time to time requiring travel. 25%-30%
• Weekend and Night work required.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need
• Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles. Candidate must have a background in Banking (minimum 5 years) or Core Implementations (minimum 3 years).
• Need to be a self-starter that can take guidelines and templates provided by the PMO and follow processes and guidelines.
• Advanced skills with project management software such as MS Project, Planview and Monday.com is a plus. Advanced skills in Word and Excel are a must.
• Advanced communication and organization skills are crucial to success in this complex project management role.
• A bachelor's in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is not needed but may be required within 2 years of hire.

Epic Implementation Executive Project Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Epic Implementation Executive Project Manager with deep expertise in healthcare IT, revenue cycle operations, and full-life-cycle Epic implementations. This leader will oversee complex enterprise Epic projects, drive integrated workflow improvements, and serve as the strategic liaison between operations, clinical teams, and IT.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience directing Epic build, testing, training, deployment, and optimization across large health systems-ensuring programs remain on time, on budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive-level leadership for Epic implementation and optimization initiatives across hospital and ambulatory environments.
Direct all phases of Epic project lifecycle: assessment, design, build, testing, go-live, stabilization, and long-term optimization.
Lead revenue cycle, HIM, coding, and documentation workflows through integrated Epic and third-party system deployments.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment across operational leaders, IT analysts, and vendor partners.
Manage cross-functional teams, including analysts, business SMEs, operations leaders, and clinical partners.
Oversee governance, communication plans, risk mitigation, scope management, resource allocation, and executive reporting.
Serve as key liaison between operations and IT, translating business needs into technical design and system configuration.
Conduct operational workflow assessments, identify underutilized functionality, and guide optimization to improve performance.
Manage third-party integrations such as 3M 360, coding products, claim attachment systems, and payer platform tools.
Ensure regulatory compliance across HIM, documentation, coding, correspondence, and revenue cycle functions.
Lead multi-site Epic go-lives, including readiness assessments, command center planning, end-user training strategy, and post-live stabilization.
Qualifications
10+ years of healthcare IT and Epic implementation experience.
10+ years of consulting experience leading enterprise Epic or health information system deployments.
Successful track record managing multi-hospital Epic implementations and workflow redesign across HIM, coding, CDI, billing, charging, and revenue integrity.
Deep expertise with integrated workflows spanning revenue cycle, HIM, clinical documentation, and operational leadership.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience directing multimillion-dollar projects for academic medical centers, community hospitals, and integrated health systems.
PMP certification required; Epic HIM/Coding/ROI and Revenue Integrity certifications strongly preferred.
Proven success managing SCRUM/Agile-based projects and vendor relationships.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance or related field and three (3) or more years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with Capital Markets regulations, including Suitability, MAR, MiFID II, and Best Execution and understanding of the Capital Markets Trade Lifecycle and Order flows; utilizing SQL and data management tools; conducting data mapping sessions to align client data with system requirements; performing data analysis including debugging and resolving complex data issues; translating client requirements into detailed technical specifications and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer groups; managing implementation and conversion projects within the financial services sector; demonstrating project management skills including manage multiple projects simultaneously and consulting methodologies; and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. In the alternative, the employer will accept three (3) years towards a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of work experience to satisfy the degree requirement in the above listed fields.
