Required Qualifications: One year of recent experience as an RN, including a minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications: Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Summary: A Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support. Hospice RNs assess patient needs, coordinate care plans, and educate families to ensure patients experience dignity and peace in their final stages. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care while upholding hospice philosophy and regulatory standards.
