POSITION SCOPE
The Construction Materials Buyer has expertise in purchasing materials for commercial buildings including but not limited to finish materials (tile, wall coverings, fixtures, etc.). The ideal candidate will have an expert knowledge of the vertical construction/maintenance industry and would consider themselves an expert in these areas. Specifically, we need someone who can view the specs of a construction job and be able to create a list of the materials/parts/etc. needed for the job. This is an opportunity for someone to use their construction experience and foresight in many different building projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal
Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts
Liaising with Vendors, delivery and warehouse teams to ensure due dates are updated and goods are received on time
Updating costs and retails in a timely manner
Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely
Updating all records of purchased products
Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses
Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of construction buying experience
Vertical construction experience preferred
Must be able to read plans and be able to decipher information

POSITION SCOPE
The Recruiter plays a key role in connecting our hiring needs with qualified talent by building strong relationships both internally and externally. POSITION SCOPE
The Southwest Safety Director position requires extensive knowledge, skill and insight across the spectrum of construction risk. This position will lead the organization towards comprehensively redesigning the entire risk and safety management strategy. Develop and implement a comprehensive Safety and Risk strategy to measurably improve outcomes.

Establish performance metrics to improve outcomes, perform tracking and reporting to management.
Evaluates and regularly monitors project, supervisor and crew performance to provide coaching on specific performance improvement areas; recommends disciplinary action to HR, when necessary.
Provides leadership and support to corporate and field personnel in monitoring the effectiveness of processes and programs implemented, including but not limited to accident investigations, safety best practices and audits, and DOT matters.
Assesses exposure to safety and risk and adverse consequences of construction activities. Collaborate with others when negotiating policy terms and limits. Recommends the purchase of insurance, coverage limits and deductibles to ensure adequate protection against loss at the most effective cost to the Company.
Collaborates with upper management and insurance broker to manage outcomes in workers compensation, liability, auto, and property & casualty claims. Manages and oversees the administration of the workers' compensation program, including claims and claim costs, claim reviews, and return to work program for the benefit of the employee and the company.
Participates in client meetings as requested to promote the corporate Safety & Risk Management programs.
Assists in the estimating process when requested, by analyzing cost and procedural implications for specific safety concerns involved in a project plan.

POSITION SCOPE
The Environmental Compliance Inspector supports Fisher Sand & Gravel Arizona's environmental programs by conducting routine field inspections, reviewing site records, and ensuring compliance with stormwater, air quality, and other regulatory requirements. Based in Phoenix with extensive travel, this role performs Method 9 opacity readings, verifies signage and equipment compliance, assists with corrective actions for out-of-compliance conditions, and supports environmental mitigation efforts when needed. POSITION SCOPE
The Fleet Preventative Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising, scheduling, and prioritizing preventative maintenance for all heavy equipment and fleet vehicles in the field. Supervise and lead the tasks and budget of a multi shift, 24 / 7 service area that operates at multiple job sites across several states. Maintain workforce, equipment, and supplies to ensure adequate standards of quality and workmanship. Assume responsibility for evaluating employees, meeting production schedules, following and developing systems and procedures, practicing effective oral and written communication, and making decisions within established guidelines.
PRIMARY DUTIES
* Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork
* Manages, monitors, and aligns the lube preventative maintenance daily functions
* Directs, controls, and accomplishes Machine Service's maintenance and fleet vehicle maintenance goals
* Manages and maintains a database of parts necessary to complete services
* Works with key vendors to obtain required parts and services to fulfill maintenance needs
* Plans and organizes long/short term support needs. Maintains orderly flow of tasks from multiple worksites.
* Maintains responsibility for Opening, managing and closing all maintenance work orders within the company's business system.
* Must maintain an accurate and up to date maintenance schedule for all heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.
* Keeps the Manager informed about activities and problems.
* Develops continuous employee training and development programs.
* Requires regular and punctual employee attendance

REQUIREMENTS
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Applicants must be at least 21 years old
* Five or more years of job-related experience
* Valid driver's license and have a clean motor-vehicle record to meet company insurance guidelines
* CDL w/ HazMat (Preferred)
* Strong technical aptitude and understanding of heavy machinery operations and service
* Technical expertise - specific business/industry job-related professional knowledge, skills, experience, and performance attributes
* Mechanical knowledge of equipment and able to perform routine maintenance if required
* Demonstrated skills with all Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

* Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. on a regular basis

POSITION SCOPE
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and managing onsite construction activities for heavy civil construction projects to ensure quality and cost. This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a project team or paving crew to assist with all functions of the project. PRIMARY DUTIES

POSITION SCOPE
The OTR Field Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative and emergency maintenance of repairs and maintaining company vehicles, material delivery trucks, along with other vehicles and heavy equipment related to industry. Travel is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Performs diesel and gasoline engine repairs and maintenance
Diagnoses and performs power train component repairs and maintenance
Troubleshoots and performs hydraulic system repairs and maintenance
Diagnoses and repairs truck air brake systems problems
