Debra also manages crisis communications for the agency’s clients and conducts media interview training workshops for franchisors and franchisees. As COO, she is responsible for training, management and oversight of teams and accounts and ensuring overall agency best practices. Her previous PR experience includes media relations and event planning for major manufacturers of natural vitamin supplements. As a former journalist, Debra reported on the Illinois legislature and state government agencies for the Associated Press, served as a reporter and feature writer for The Daily Herald Chicagoland newspaper and served as a writer and associate editor for the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Safety Council. Debra holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
