WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most of the work is performed in an industrial environment that is heated not but not cooled. The noise level in the work area exceeds moderate levels. This position requires you to wear hearing protection when working in the teardown area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the disassembly of tractors and various subunits.
Ability to inspect used parts to determine if the part meets standards for resale.
Must mark, label, and inventory all parts leaving the area.
Will take part in cross training opportunities work with front ends and prep job tasks

Technical

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Required to complete a baseline hearing assessment upon hire and annually thereafter as part of the hearing conservation program.

Disassembles and reassembles tractors and combines during the repair process.
Repair used equipment for resale by welding, fabricating and replacing damaged or broken parts.
Duplicate OEM parts for replacement of damaged parts.
Works and repairs on-site rolling stock as needed
Operates forklifts, hoists and strong arm tractor.
Follows all safety rules and regulations; keeps work environment clean and free of hazards.
Follows all departmental procedures and policies. Recommends changes to procedure for supervisor approval.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES

Must be at least 18 years of age.
