Summary
Prepares and produces food for distribution to patients, retail, physicians and catering services.
Responsibilities
Prepares food according to standardized recipes ensuring food production schedules are met.
Follows menus provided and communicates any concerns to departmental leadership.
Ensures that food is prepared and documented according to quality, quantity, nutritional, temperature and safety standards.
Adheres to all applicable HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points) guidelines regarding the requisition, storage, handling and preparation of food.

II. Position Responsibilities:
Core Functions:

Since 1978, Hospice of Palm Beach County, Hospice of Broward County and Hospice by the Sea have cared for 200,000 families in South Florida. Hours of Operation: 6:30a-3:00p, 9:30a-6:00p, or 11:00a-7:30p, and may include at least one weekend day on an ongoing basis.

Skills:
Working knowledge of food preparation and skills
Working knowledge and ability to use kitchen and cleaning equipment

Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Ability to provide outstanding face to face customer service.
