Dexis is recruiting for an experienced Strategic Logistics Planner to support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in developing and synchronizing logistics operations across the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility. The position focuses on providing logistics expertise for operational planning teams while ensuring synchronization of logistics efforts across Department of Defense, interagency partners, and multinational forces. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
The Strategic Logistics Planner will develop logistics plans, exercises, and training activities using the Joint Operational Planning Process while providing subject matter expertise on sustainment functions. This role involves coordinating with USCENTCOM Component Commands, Defense Logistics Agency, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive logistics support across operations.
Key duties include:
Develop and implement logistics plans following Joint Publications 4-0 and 5-0
Provide logistical support and logistics expertise to operational planning teams
Collaborate with CCJ4 on strategic and regional logistics concerns
Maintain current logistics running estimates of theater operations
Coordinate USCENTCOM Requirements Review Process projects
Develop analyses, estimates, and briefings for primary staff
Synchronize logistics planning across multiple stakeholders
Write logistics equities and tasks into USCENTCOM plans and orders
Qualifications
Graduate of Joint Logistics Course or equivalent program
Minimum 7 years professional experience
Minimum 5 years of strategic logistics planning experience
Minimum 3 years experience at Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters
Comprehensive knowledge of Joint Operational Planning Process
Experience with JOPES and Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX)
Strong analytical and technical writing skills
Active DOD Secret clearance required
