Job Summary
Oversee our parking lots and garages. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming and safe environment by greeting clients, communicating transportation information and tracking relevant parking and ridership data. When needed provide security to off-site lots and complete incident reports.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with safe entry, parking and exiting of guests to our parking lots and garages.
Oversee the safety of vehicles and guests in the lots and garages.
Provide excellent customer service always; greet customers professionally; offer assistance with boarding or de-boarding as appropriate, in accordance with operations policies; maintain an appropriate level of supplies such as schedules or other information; stay current with knowledge of transportation operations; provide information to riders about transportation options or how to access additional information.
Report all environmental safety hazards, unusual incidents, suspicious circumstances, and accidents; report all incidents; complete incident reports as necessary; participate in accident or incident reviews as requested. Document all accidents/incidents verbally and/or in writing or e-mail as directed by Manager.
Perform proactive lot counts with detail and accuracy.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check

We are currently seeking Traffic Control Flaggers to join our Hickory, NC team. He/She will safely guide traffic through our work zones using signs and hand signals. Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, and work outside in varying weather conditions. Overtime available!
Traffic Control Flagger Required Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Clean driving record and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment (Miller Pipeline will reimburse upon employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct patrons where to park.
- Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets.
- Maintain a neat and orderly cashier booth at all times, free of debris and trash with clean windows void of unapproved company posters or decorative hangings.
- Provide the company's standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists.
- Other special projects as assigned by location management.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High School degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
