Job Summary:
The Dump TruckDriver position is a highly safety-sensitive role requiring skill and attentiveness in operating triaxle and tandem dump trucks. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials to and from job sites, quarries, and asphalt plants. Follow Directions: Take direction from supervisors regarding assignments, routes, and operational procedures.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor dashboard gauges, and maintain truck cleanliness, reporting any major issues to the Supervisor.

Job DescriptionRDH is looking for Class B or Class A CDL drivers to join our expanding tri-axle dump truck fleet. First and foremost, we pride ourselves on building a reputation of safety, and we expect our drivers to operate each truck in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Cell phone use must be hands-free when the vehicle is on the road. Every driver must be drug-free and submit to a pre-employment drug screening as well as random screenings throughout the year.
Prior dump truck experience is preferred but not required, but the ideal candidate will have a clean driving record. Also, each new team member will be subject to at least one week of a ride/ drive along regardless of prior experience.
The driver upon hire must sign up for the TRUX app and familiarize themselves with becoming proficient at using it daily on his/ her smartphone.
Our trucks are 2017 year models or newer with automatic transmissions, and we ask our drivers to keep them as clean as possible. The driver will be responsible for washing and cleaning the truck inside and out at least once a week, and the bed should be shoveled out when needed.
The driver must insure they arrive to the jobsite at least 10 minutes before the specified starting time and work until the job foreman cuts them off. Expect to work at least 10-12+ hours/ day and 5-6 days/ week unless our jobs are postponed or canceled due to weather.
Starting pay is $21-24/ hr depending on experience, and pay increases are at the discretion of the owner and fleet manager based on the driver's job performance. Night shift pays an additional $2/ hr. Medical, dental and vision benefits available. We look forward to speaking with you!
