Our growing company is seeking experienced route delivery drivers to deliver at specialty pet stores, grocery stores, and retail accounts. Our Pet Distribution team works together to supply our customers with the nation's top brands of pet supplies like Nylabone, Kaytee, and Aqueon. The Class A CDL Driver transports goods from one location to another. He or she will help load and unload products from the vehicle and verify contents against shipping invoices or inventories. Most importantly and without exception, the driver must operate within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times. The ideal candidate for this position is at least 21 years old, has a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of driving experience, a Class A CDL, the physical stamina to perform the duties of this job, and can pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination. In addition, he or she must have basic mechanical skills to perform regular vehicle inspections. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and appropriate appearance, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
