* Loading approximately 20 pallets on to a 48' trailer with roller bed using a forklift, driving an automatic day cab with trailer to our customer 10 minutes down the road and manually unloading individual pallets using a hook to pull pallets onto conveyors. This could be repeated at an average of 5-6 loads per shift.

Summary/Objective
Pick up and deliver products within an assigned industrial area using Commercial vehicles which require a Class A CDL Driver's license and a Hazardous Materials Endorsement. This role will also perform tasks essential to the warehouse such as load, unload products using multiple forms of equipment including forklift. This is a great multi-functional role.

Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
Record preventive maintenance and expense records for the vehicle
Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations
Inspects, maintains, and schedules repairs on truck/trailer
Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo per operating procedure
Plan and direct loading/unloading of the vehicle for optimal customer service and safe transportation of products
Receives and delivers products and equipment
Maintains records of deliveries and follows efficient travel routes
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and be responsive to their service needs
