Job DescriptionClosed Loop Recycling (CLR) is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Route Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our production team. CLR is one of the fastest-growing recycling companies. We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil-absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. Our plants' role is extracting the oily fluid from the material for reuse, laundering the material for reuse, cleaning out 55-gallon collection drums for reuse, and repackaging cleaned material. You'll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here.
This position will require truck training to service clients when needed. Our CSRs remove 55-gallon collection drums filled with saturated oil absorbent mats, PPE, and other items and replace them with new materials. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves driving over the road, lifting, and moving heavy objects frequently, and communicating with our logistics department.
For this position, we offer two distinct pay rates depending on the role being performed. For work in the warehouse, the pay rate is approximately $18 to 20. For truck driving, the pay rate ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience.

JOB SUMMARY:The truck driver is responsible for safely and efficiently driving, loading, transporting and unloading raw materials or products from vendor locations to production plants or customer.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs daily vehicle pre-trip safety inspection according to company guidelines.
Maintains truck maintenance, fluid and fuel levels as needed and assist maintenance with repairs as needed
Reports any vehicle mechanical problems on a timely basis to fleet maintenance.
Follows written and oral instruction from Dispatch to determine the quantity and location of raw materials or products to be loaded, transported and unloaded each day.
Ability to exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading / operation to and from work site
Ensures materials or products loaded are the correct quantity and within acceptable specifications.
Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner
Continuously follow all safety rules and work in safe, efficient manner
Completes required paperwork timely and accurately
Maintains communication with the Dispatch using Trackit, Provided Two-Way Radio, and or mobile telephone to advise of questions, problems or issues on a timely basis.
Maintains a neat and professional personal appearance.
Keeps the interior and exterior of the truck clean and free of clutter to include regularly removing road film and excess raw material from exterior surfaces.
Follows established company policies and guidelines for safety, quality and service.
Ability to operate light and heavy equipment (Forklift, Moffett) as needed.
Wears personal protective equipment, and company issued shirts as needed or required.
Maintain a good Drive Cam Record.
Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location.
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience/Education/Skill
2+ years Class B CDL driving experience. Class A CDL is a Plus.
Experience in hauling material on flat bed.
Must have a clean and safe driving record.
Maintain an active DOT qualification.
Ability to perform well in a “TEAM” environment.
Self-motivated, organized and can work without direct supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships.
Ability to perform sustained overhead reaching.
Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels.
Ability to tolerate working at heights up to 12 feet.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to work up to 16 hours, with a maximum driving time per day of 11 hours and able to work according to DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
Lift objects of various dimensions and up to 100lbs. of weight frequently.
Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders.
Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.
Ability to use vibration tools frequently.
Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.

Now that you have your CDL Class A license no one will hire you because you have no experience.
We will. We presently have 14 CDL trainee positions. Business is picking up and we have trucks sitting empty.
The interview process is simple. We will call you and do a short phone interview. If we feel you will be approved we will help you put in the first part of the application. Then we send you the second part via email.
Once approved for hire you will go out with a trainer for 30 days OTR training all over the country. You will not get home during training.
This position will pay you a salary of $650 per week for your first 30 days only. After successful completion you will be hired on a permanent basis.
Once you have completed training drivers are bringing in huge pay checks ranging from $1100~$1500 per week on average to start.
At this time we have 14 positions for entry level Class A Regional and OTR drivers. Regional drivers get home weekly and sometimes during their work week. OTR drivers stay out 10-14 days normally.
Once approved, you will be scheduled for our 1 1/2 day orientation. Once successfully completed, you will go out with a trainer for 4 weeks for OTR training.
During training drivers will stay out for 30 days straight not coming home during that time.
In training our goal is to turn you into a confidant safe successful driver. Upon successful completion you then get moved into your own company truck and a big pay raise. Running dedicated, regional and OTR runs ect.
The run you chose will depend on what runs are open when you complete training. If you want a position that is currently filled all you have to do is talk to your driver manager and he will switch you over ASAP.
