Teton Petroleum Transport (TPT) is currently seeking a Fuel Transport Driver. This role will load, haul, and deliver fuel for our customers. This role primarily is day trips with limited OTR. TPT delivers fuel to over 40 states for a variety of customers and industries. The Company offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Fuel Transport Driver will primarily be focused on:
Follow company safety standards and report issues.
Complete all pre and post trip inspections per company expectations.
Report immediately any maintenance, suspicious or concerning finding from inspections.
Load and unload product following company procedures explicitly.
Monitor load/unload process at all times
Expected to be outside by loading/unloading area
Watch hoses and other areas to ensure in good working order
Ensure all drops are in the appropriate tank at the appropriate location.
Maintain legal logs and hours at all times.
Keep bill of ladings accurate and current during deliveries.
Document accurate tank readings.
Enter all load documentation into system by the end of each shift.
Deliver all log and inspection information weekly to management.
Follow all applicable traffic laws.
Ensure truck, trailer and associated equipment are clean and in good working order.
Report any incidents or mechanical issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate for the Fuel Transport Driver will have the following:
One or more years tanker experience and/or two or more years experience over the road.
Possess a valid Class A CDL
Able to obtain Hazmat endorsement.
Acceptable driving record.
Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.
Able to obtain other FMCSA endorsements as required by the Company.
Strong customer service skills.
Able to sit for extended periods of time.
Able to drive for extended periods of time.
Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to push or pull equipment, hoses, and other items.

Drive truck to destination.
Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and report any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisor.
Ensure portable restroom are vacuum pumped, cleaned and sanitized.
Ensure all portable restrooms and handwashing stations are stocked with required supplies.
Maintain condition of portable restroom units by conducting repairs.
Adhere to all traffic laws while driving the company truck.
Follow the given map to ensure the correct placement of portable restrooms.

Using a computer to print out and enter shipping and inventory information
Driving heavy duty 2500/3500 truck pulling a 20' & 24' flat bed trailer to execute customer deliveries throughout Northern California
Offloading product at customer sites during delivery runs
Pulling orders for customers from within the warehouse for in person pickup
Driver must be able to pick 75-100 pounds
Interacting with customers in a pleasant and supportive manner
Special projects within the warehouse as needed

Essential Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment and forklifts and to load and unload cargo.

Prompt daily attendance and forklift experience preferred.
Valid Class “A” CDL Driver's license with Hazmat endorsement.
Must qualify for and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance and work location access. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Government security clearance.

Sit for extended periods of time in all types of weather while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous loads.
