What you will be doing
* Manages all aspects of the project, from construction to budget and cash management, ensuring everything aligns with the project contract and owner requirements.
* Develops and manages the project schedule, pay estimates, procedures, staffing needs, and equipment resources to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
* Reviews initial project contracts and supporting documents for completeness, and collaborates with the owner to resolve any specification, contract conflicts, and scheduling issues.
* Leads engineering and scheduling teams to identify and negotiate proposed change orders, with support from the Area Manager as needed.
* Prepares and presents monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to Flatiron leadership.
* Maintains strong working relationships with Flatiron supporting departments and the project owner to support the project work plan and payment schedule.
* Serves as the main point of contact for all third-party stakeholders, including landowners, local business owners, and government agencies involved in the project.
* Reviews and approves all internal and external media news releases related to the project.
* Ensures project safety by conducting weekly safety checks, participating in safety meetings, and supporting both project and owner safety programs.
* Approves staffing and equipment needs to ensure efficient and effective project production.
* Participates in the dispute resolution process with support from internal legal counsel.
* Provides input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient project production.
* Leads project closeout procedures, finalizes contract paperwork, obtains retainages, and works with management to resolve any project claims. Conducts project debriefs to review all aspects of project work and completion.
What we are looking for
* 15+ years' experience in construction project management required.
* 10 + years' experience in managing personnel required.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field a plus.
* Proven experience in bid-build, CMCG, design build and other alternative delivery projects required.
* Valid Driver's License

Essential Functions
Strategic Program & Portfolio Management
Develop and implement enterprise-wide project controls and scheduling training and frameworks to ensure consistency, predictability, and scalability across T&D projects
Scheduling Program Best Practices
Provide strategic guidance to project managers, schedulers and controls, supporting teams to optimizing schedules
Create, update, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools, ensuring integration with cost and resource plans
Lead project teams with schedule development, logic sequencing, resource loading, and critical path analysis
Design training programs on schedule management tools and methodologies
Lead training for project managers, superintendents, and field leaders on schedule development, tracking, and forecasting
Perform periodic schedule audits to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects
Evaluate schedule performance and provide recovery strategies when delays or risks are identified
Project Controls & Project Management Best Practices
Lead the implementation of standardized processes for cost tracking, forecasting, and change controls
Develop and maintain financial controls for projects
Mentor teams on scheduling and controls best practices
Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned to improve future execution
Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure proper documentation, reporting, and visibility into project performance

About You:
Qualifications
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, scheduling, and program management within the construction (electrical construction preferred) industry

Experience supporting a diverse portfolio of concurrent transmission and distribution projects
Preferred Education

Estimate small jobs and change orders and complete and maintain change order estimates and CO
logs, and track and price EWOs
Work with the lighting department on an as-needed basis to manage light fixtures, controls, and
switchgear tracking logs
Work with the pre-fab department on an as-needed basis
Provide field foremen with information, material tracking, and other administrative functions
Summarize and track time and material paperwork
Take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
Manage and track subcontracts

Job Responsibilities
Architect and oversee enterprise deployment of GIS/LIS platforms; ensure ArcGIS-based mapping and analysis tools are optimized for industrial and real estate applications.
Create scalable processes for onboarding and retiring both owned and leased assets when sites are acquired, divested, closed or restructures.
Integrate geospatial and land data with finance, lease administration, legal, operations, and environmental systems to link property, lease and financial data in one enterprise view.
Establish real estate data governance framework for owned and leased properties, establishing standards for property boundaries, ownership, lease terms, mineral reserves, water rights, easements, zoning, and tax overlays.
Develop dashboards, spatial analytics, and KPI reporting to inform decisions on strategic real estate portfolio management.
Drive data quality targets (accuracy, completeness, and adoption) and build automated reporting pipelines for leadership and audit readiness.
Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, and Platforms to connect GIS/LIS to business impacts and strategic decision making.
Champion adoption across highly decentralized operating companies through training, communications, and stakeholder influence.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Land Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).

POSITION PURPOSE The Project Manager coordinates engineering, drafting, production and subcontractor activities to satisfy Metromont's contractual scope of work. Manages project budgets and Metromont's relationship with the customer during construction and close out.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To coordinate Metromont's engineering, drafting, production, and subcontract activities which will result in the achievement of the Company's objectives and goals in the following key result areas:
Serve as the "team" leader to ensure the delivery of a quality project from a design, product, and overall experience perspective to Metromont's customers.
Management of Metromont's outstanding accounts receivable to minimize the number of days sales outstanding both with and without retainage.
Adherence of Metromont personnel and subcontractors to Metromont's field safety programs and adherence to site safety requirements.
Retain ownership for each project assigned from project start through acceptance and final payment.
This position has direct responsibility for:
Organize the turnover meeting for each project assigned.
Develop and maintain Metromont's internal project schedule (tracking both internal Metromont personnel and outside consultant adherence) and coordinate the activities of Metromont's project team to assure that Metromont's schedule meets the overall project schedule.
Review of submittal drawings for constructability issues and compliance with Metromont standards.
Review contracts and provide input with regards to Terms and Conditions and Scope of Work to Contracts Administrator.
Coordinate with the erector the submittal of the stability plan; setup stability review meeting within the required time frame prior to erection.
Setup and conduct the internal pre-erection meeting at least two weeks prior to erection start.
All required project submittals (mix designs, FAA determination, brick, samples, caulk, etc)
Manage project scope versus contract requirements and Metromont's project estimate.
Coordination and management of change orders on assigned projects.
Facilitate resolution of problems related to the project.
Coordinate all information and correspondence with respect to project design, schedule, scope, production, erection, field finishing, etc., between external members of the project team and Metromont's members of the project team.
Assure that all members of Metromont's project team are of the same understanding with respect to project expectations for scope, schedule, quality, etc.
Maintain project documentation in accordance with Metromont's standards.
Attend regularly scheduled project job site meetings as required by contract or the customer.
Attend regularly scheduled design coordination meetings as required by contractor the customer.
Develop, along with the Accounts Receivable Technician, the project's schedule of values.
Manage Metromont's billing process and the outstanding accounts receivable for projects assigned.
Coordinate project close out documentation and billing of final retainage.
Assure the timely selection of subcontractors.
Assure Metromont's field subcontractors adhere to Metromont's standard field safety program, OSHA safety requirements, as well as any special safety requirements stipulated either by contract or the customer.
Provide feedback both on an ongoing basis and upon project completion to Metromont's project team with respect to the quality of the product, field services, and customer experience with Metromont.
Weekly site visits on all projects, where applicable.
Document progression of work/issues with photos.
Provide weekly updates on erection tracking log to project team.
Monitor project budgets; communicate manufacturing budget changes to appropriate department.
Provide supervision and oversight to Metromont's Field Superintendent.
Manage the sample approval process.
Own and monitor project punch list completion.
Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
