I thought the pros of working at flex-n-gate are the steady work availability and continuing education in industrial maintenance through e-learning
My experience of cons working for flex-n-gate was the lack of engineering support with designs for retrofitting old machinery with current technology
My favorite perk was the healthcare available for my family
What I enjoyed about the management was their availability
I would improve the work culture by having reviews that were focused on employee capabilities and achievement rather than personality
I prepared for my interview with flex-n-gate drawing from my history in the maintenance field
My compensation from flex-n-gate was average
I feel the demographics were changing to include a younger workforce of a South American background
Location is convenient. Weekly pay.
Underpaid, overworked. Uneven work distribution in General Labor positions. Cutthroat policies, contracts favor company over workers

I wouldn’t for this job
Not
No way it sucks this company needs help they drink and smoke on the job
If they fire managers and leads and start over
Right now the pros : paycheck, and ya don't have to do much lol the less ya do the better really.
All young ppl in leadership roles and dept heads that shouldn't be in that position.
Pay for standing around talkin
Never met ceo or anyone from the office or seen anyone from the office or from corporate in the plant. I guess the owner is a football fan so that's a plus.
Alot of things I don't know where to begin. The plant supervisors need to learn the job they have and start enforcing policy and job production instead of working about being everyone's friend and puting their friends on machines that they should not be on and no one knows how to train them on.
Didn't at all. Stayed out drunk all night came in hungover hadnt slept until they showed a movie then slept through that and woke up in time to hear see ya all monday
Low and I don't see it improving. There is to much waste and to much wasted on nothing for ppl to do, young kids running the place that shouldn't be so I don't see it improving.
That dosent bother me at all,
Quiting time and payday
Was a good job
Doesn't pay enough The owner cares for his football team and not the people who actually make the money.
Insurance
None
Toxic management. Toxic atmosphere. Only promoted if you fit in to supervisor and assembly managers group. Supervisor and assembly manger are on ego trip in Effingham Illinois facility because they worked for another headlight company. No communication. Lots of favoritism in Effingham facility. Lots of unnecessary over time because supervisor and assembly manger don't know what they are doing. Please stay away from here untill the change management.
The people
Unrealistic Expectations due to understaffing
Getting paid on pay day
