Chris runs Flexport’s legal, compliance, and customs functions. He’s held similar roles at Xoom and PayPal/ebay, where he was the second lawyer hired. Prior, he practiced law at two firms in New York City. He earned his BA from Stanford University and his JD from Georgetown.

Finance professional with full spectrum of experience and accomplishment. Proven ability to successfully lead organizations during periods of rapid growth and increasing complexity.

A CTO twice before -- at Jenzabar (CampusCraze) and Rakuten (Freecause), two companies that grew very rapidly -- James thrives as a big-picture technologist. While at Rakuten, James managed an organization of 1,500+ people. Most recently, he was a Director of Technology at Amazon. At Flexport, James will be responsible for driving product vision and technology strategy. He’s looking forward to helping Flexport scale sustainably and intelligently.

Ben spearheads our global sales and go to market teams. In leadership roles before Flexport, Ben helped drive two high-growth companies to successful acquisitions: URX (acquired by Pinterest) and Heyzap (acquired by Fyber).

Experienced technologist with a demonstrated history of leading large scale organizations, designing and delivering huge scale software solutions; from Microsoft Windows Update to the Amazon Retail and Transportation technologies to name a few. Skilled in API First architectural patterns, AWS cloud solutions, NoSQL data modeling and scaling, IT Strategies, Management, Software as a Service (SaaS), Engineering and Operational Excellence.
