Serves as a crew member in the role of FlightAttendant. Assumes direct responsibility for cabin safety on the ground and in-flight. Responsible for cabin service, including food and beverage preparation and serving. Responsible for liaison with aircraft caterers and ground handling staff at destination airports. Takes ownership for the cleanliness and organization of aircraft cabin including restocking of aircraft galley and onboard supplies.

+ Stocking Commissary: shop and purchase required items needed for aircraft. Maintain all snack items for freshness.
+ Aircraft Care: FA is responsible for pre and post flight aircraft cleaning and restocking.
+ Training: Must act in accordance with all aspects of P&G General Operations Manual, Flight Safety International recurrent safety training (or equivalent), DCA Access fingerprinting, etc.
+ Provide feedback on standard operating procedures for continuous improvement.
+ Establishes standard stock and storage locations for aircraft cabins.
+ Responsible for daily management of commissary stock and supplies and drinks as needed.
+ Handle aircraft bedding materials ensure supplies are current and ready for international trips.
+ Liaise with company medical and medical vendors to ensure that aircraft emergency/medical equipment is up to date and current.
+ Work with management team on outfitting new aircraft.
+ Provide Material Coordinator with list of supplies and quantity to order/ re-order.
+ Maintain aircraft cabin inventory books.
+ IS familiar with and handles on-board connectivity systems for passengers and cabin and has the capability to establish and resolve onboard connectivity issues.
+ Continuous education in leadership.
+ Other duties as the need arises to help deliver the mission of GFOs.

STARTING PAY: $19.84/HR
Position Overview:
Schedule: Day Shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM, Mon-Fri)
Some overtime is required to make sure all trucks are loaded

* Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
The Shipping Attendant is responsible for the proper preparation and loading of all outgoing shipments of finished products, unloading of incoming shipments, maintenance of the shipping yard/workspace and transport of materials/finished products to appropriate department and/or storage location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Load outgoing shipments
* Unload incoming shipments and submit to appropriate shipping personnel
* Examines outgoing shipments for any product defects
* Assemble cardboard containers or selected pre-assembled containers
* Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding
* Stamp or glue identifying information and shipping instructions onto boxes or containers
* Post weights and shipping charges; affix postage
* Route items to appropriate departments
* Process and Print Bills of Lading and paperwork
* Assist Shipping Technician with inventory control
* Maintain a neat and orderly work area, and assist to maintain an orderly and clean shipping yard
* Follow all safety requirements of this position (Adhere to SOP's and GMP's)
* Abide by all policies and procedures of Dura-Line
* Flexibility with hours as needed to finish unloading trucks, when applicable
* Additional duties as required
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; Bi-lingual a Plus!
* SAP Experience is a plus!
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
* Forklift experience required
* Experience loading Flatbed/Stepdeck Trailers
* Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment with strong attention to detail required
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable assistance
* Self-Motivated and willing to work alone or in a team setting
* Strong desire for personal advancement and the willingness to achieve
* Ability to use hand tools: electric saw, air nail gun, hammer, banding equipment, crow bar
* Mobility sufficient to allow frequent entrance and exits from lift truck
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Fast paced manufacturing environment
* Non-Climate Controlled Facility
* Will be working in the loading dock and shipping yard
* Some exposure to inclement weather. Majority of time spent on the shipping/receiving dock and outside reel yard

What You Will Do:
Stores, issues and delivers materials, supplies, and equipment; takes inventory in all Par and palmtop areas; and assists with special projects.

Enters issues and credits in Meditech and Par Excellence system accurately.
Keeps Supply Chain Analyst responsible for Storeroom inventory informed of needed supplies.
Makes spot checks of actual inventory, as requested.
Accurately fills orders from stock or special order goods to fill requisitions and delivers goods to requesting departments, obtaining signatures for accepted supplies.
Accurately fills orders for area fire departments and squads.
Obtains signature for accepted supplies.
Makes scheduled and unscheduled deliveries to specific departments and/or nursing units.
Keeps assigned supply areas on nursing units clean and orderly.
Checks products for expiration dates in Storeroom, Par and Palmtop areas on a monthly basis as well as regular rotation of stock.
What You Will Need:
High School graduate, or equivalent.
Demonstrates basic arithmetic and record keeping skills.
Demonstrates ability to use computer systems and computer workstations.
Demonstrates willingness to carry wireless phone.
Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and be insurable under Firelands' auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request.
Successful completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period.
